Also we have started ABA therapy. also we put him into play house. We have seen that he has lot of improvement in his eye contact. He pay attention toward us but not with other person. He also understand feeling such as if he is thirsty or hungry then he pick up our hand & bring us to kitchen for water & food but he is not expressed with words. He talking words but which is not meaningful. He started talking baba, mama, kaka, etc as we told him. As you diagnosed him as mild to moderate ASD, then when to be he cured. Both of them have had significant global developmental delays - speech being the worst. They did not present with the "classic" autism symptoms - just seemed very delayed overall. We started therapies when they were 18 month sold - and we have not seen much progress in the last 3 years. They were recently diagnosed with ASD - after years of doctors/neuros not being able to give us a diagnosis beyond sensory processing disorder and global delay. We've been doing everything therapywise - OT/PT/Speech/Horsebackriding and 2.5 hrs/day of pre-school - with barely any improvement. They are almost non-verbal and have under 5 word approximations. We do a lot of sensory activities as well. Both of them have had sweaty heads after falling asleep in the past - but that's getting better. They also seem warm to the touch - without a fever.
