Cervical spondylosis is a disorder of the neck spine where the vertebrae (bones in the neck) and the discs (cushions between the vertebrae) start degenerating. This is also known as cervical osteoarthritis.

The degeneration in the bones and the disks occur as a result of wear and tear as one ages.
