Sir,
My grand daughter who is7 years old has the following problems of adhd.
1. Most unattentive,no concentration speech problem.
2. She likes to trouble others and enjoys it.She may scratch some body part, try to bite,pull hair etc and feels happy doing it.
3. Very venageful and if slapped she create hell for that person and if she is helpless then hit her younger brother.
4.Otherwise healthy, but at time of her birth water went into her lungs and did not get oxygen for sometimes. The doctors however revived her.Due to some problem she was prescribed gardenal when she was about 2-3 months old.
5.She locks herself in the room and refuse to come out.
6. Will try to see TV from very near distance and if told eye will be harmed ,will say let it be.
7. When she is damaging something and told not to do so,will say let it be damaged.
Could you please suggest something.

I READ YOUR ARTICLE and found out that my son also cant concentrate at one place,his attention span is alsovery less he can fight his sleep.make him do his home work isone of the difficult task.he cries a lot at home.he is constantly on move .he is silent when he watches t.v,while playingwith cars.when with his friends he behaves i mean at times i abhor his body language.mr bean acting.he tries his level best to irritate others.so many things are there.
help please.
