Kidney stones and Homeopathy
For those who suffer from recurrent kidney stones, homeopathic treatment can be very effective and a safe alternative to any kind of surgical intervention. Homeopathic medicine Berberis Vulgaris (medicine made from the bark from the plant named -Barberry) is well known for its great action in treating stones in the kidney and urinary tract.
Not only does Berberis help in eliminating kidney stones and reliving the pain, its use also eradicates ones tendency to develop stones recurrently. Although there are many other medicines in homeopathy that are found useful in treating kidney stones but Berberis alone can treat a great variety of renal stones and the symptoms of pain arising out of it.
Kidney stones (in medical terminology called as Renal Calculi or Urolithiasis) are hard masses that develop in the kidney or urinary tract .These masses are made up of crystals. They may contain many chemicals but usually are made up of calcium (with combination of oxalates or phosphates) and uric acid.
Men are usually more predisposed to having kidney stones and are more likely to develop it as they enter into their 40?s .Hereditary factors also play a strong role. Hypercalciuria (where there is excess of calcium excreted in urine) is also genetic acquired factor which leads to frequent development of kidney stones. It is also true that once someone develops more than one stone he is likely to develop such stones more often.
The role of food in developing kidney stones is a debatable issue. . It is popular belief that avoiding food that is high in calcium is must in people who are suffering from stones; in reality this is not true. On the contrary, recent Studies have shown that having food high in calcium like dairy products may actually prevent calcium stones. Certain foods and medicines like (calcium based antacids) are known to promote the production of stones .if one has acidic urine avoiding foods like fish meat and poultry can help. People who tend to develop calcium oxalate stone and show oxalates in their urine may need to avoid or limit their intake of foods containing oxalates like: like Beetroots, chocolate, coffee, cola, nuts, spinach, strawberries, tea, and wheat bran
Kidney stones can cause very severe pain which is caused when the stones obstruct the flow of urine or when they move in the ureter (ducts that carry urine from the kidney to the bladder). Pain caused by kidney stones occurs in the back or in the lower abdomen. It may extend to the groin area too. Passing of blood in urine can occur when the stone moves in the urinary tract. Pain can be very severe and may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting.
It is a well known fact that many stones tend to come out on their own but some do require medical intervention. Even though, Berberis Vulgaris is homeopathy?s best bet, other medicines like Sarsaparilla, Hydrangea, and Benzoic Acid are also used very extensively used in homeopathy for the treatment of renal calculi. Choice of medicine in homeopathy is based upon the symptoms presented by the patient. In a nutshell Homeopathy forms a very safe and an effective bet in avoiding surgery by removing and preventing renal calculi from recurring again .Other lifestyle modifications like increasing fluid intake (10-12 glasses of water) and a well regulated diet is the first step in prevention of stones.

It kind of upsets me to read this thread, and see so many people that are trying homeopathic remedies for kidney stones, and as a result are suffering. Listen people, health and medicine is big business, this guy is trying to make a buck just like everyone else, but what he is selling is snake oil. A close friend of mine is a “Homeopathic Doctor” she’s a ditz who went to school for two years, I don’t even know how she (or this guy) can call themselves doctors. I understand your weariness with modern medicine, and believe me, I seek out herbal remedies for many ailments, but as far as kidney stones go, it is absolutely imperative that you seek out real medical help. Modern medicine is all about making money to, but at least in the area, modern medicine is very effective. Another thing I want to mention, kidney stones are not necessarily caused by ones diet, as a matter of fact, there is no evidence whatsoever to substantiate that claim. “Dr.” Sharma… I would love to see transcripts of your research on this subject, but I fear there are none….
sir,i have 18mm stone near kidney. taking homeopathic medicine from 1 year but not found positive .inspite when i start taking medicine it was 9 mm now it is 18mm before 2 months i take ayurvedic medicine but no relief i want to avoid opreation. tell me if you have any way of this.

I was told that I have a 18mm stone on my left kidney. My doctor said being its not bothering me, just to leave it and have an ultrsound done yearly.
My doctor didnt seem to be to worried about it. He said being its so large, it cant pass. Should I be concerned?

prepare lemon juice of 20 ounches
drink 8 oz. of lemon juice (pure and straingt)
next, add 1 oz juice to 8 oz water{do this once an hour, for 12hrs straight}
Buy about 20 lemons. Cut them and squeeze the juice out of them. Drink 8 ounces of the lemon juice and set the rest of the juice aside. Wait for 1 hour, then add 1ounce of lemon juice to 8 ounces of water, and drink that. Wait for another hour and drink the 1 ounce of lemon juice + 8 ounces of water again. Keep drinking 1 ounce of lemon juice + 8 ounces of water once each hour until you run out? of lemon juice. Try the same thing next week if you had lots of big kidney stones like me.I passed 7mm stone of ureter and i have 16 mm still in right kidney….
