Dear Sir,

I my age is 24. I am suffering from left t Leg thigh pain. From MRI scan it has been found that I have (L5-S1) L5 disc dehydration right paracentral disc protrusion is seen indenting the lateral recess and the traversing nerve root S1.

I do not have any back pain. Only lower hip, thigh muscles (back side) and have muscular pain. I have taken bed rest of about one month. But still I am suffering from pain at the lower hip down to back thigh (back side of the leg). I feel less pain while lying down in bed or siti. While walking or standing I feel lots of nero-muscular pain at the lower hip and back side of thigh.

I cannot walk much or stand for longer time. My Life is becoming miserable. HELP ME SIR . LOOKING FORWARD FOR YOUR REPLY

My mother is 66years old. She is diabetic. She recently developed pain in right leg and became immobile. Doctor did Xray and MRI and concluded slip disc (L-5) Cervical lumbar spondylis. They have advised more bed rest and restricted movement inside house. Being diabetic without walking her sugar levels are going up. Is there a cure for this slip disc?
