It occurs mainly in February to April. It causes nasal discharge, nasal block and resultant mouth breathing. This intriduces strong cough and somwtimes wheeze when allergic rhinitis is very severe. Somehow I have a feeling that it occurs with Eucalyptus pollen as we have this in plenty in our residential campus. I have tried antihistaminics, bronchodilators as well as topical steroids. This time it became so severe that i had to be put on oral steroids.
