Neck Pain Could be Cervical Spondylosis
If you are around the age of forty or above and suffering from neck pain, there are good enough chances that the pain in your neck could be cervical spondylosis. Although this disorder can start early but it usually appears around the age of forty. Although cervical spondylosis affects both sexes equally, men tend to develop it at an earlier age than women
Cervical spondylosis is a disorder of the neck spine where the vertebrae (bones in the neck) and the discs (cushions between the vertebrae) start degenerating. This is also known as cervical osteoarthritis.
The degeneration in the bones and the disks occur as a result of wear and tear as one ages. As one ages, the discs loose their elasticity and become drier this causes them to become more brittle .Along with the degeneration of disks, bony out growths also form on the vertebrae which are called as osteophytes. All These degenerative changes in the cervical spine cause compression and pressure on the spinal nerves that come out of the spinal cord producing symptoms of Cervical spondylosis
The symptoms of cervical spondylosis are - pain and stiffness in the neck which is usually progressive in nature; pain and numbness that radiates to the arms hands and fingers, headache that starts from the neck and extends to the back of the head, loss of balance and vertigo (sensation of spinning or whirling with loss of balance)
Homeopathy has a very promising role in the treatment of cervical spondylosis. The long term results of homeopathy are very encouraging. Homoeopathic treatment of cervical spondylosis is dependant upon an important factor i.e. amounts of degenerative changes that have taken place in the bones and the disk. In other words the extent of damage to your spine will determine the speed at which your problem gets cured and also to what extent you get cured. In cases where there are mild to moderate changes in the cervical spine the cure is much faster and the recovery is very substantial. In advanced cases where multiple disk prolapses have occurred, the recovery will be slow and at times will be limited.
Remember homeopathy primarily is symptom based system of medicine. The medicine is determined by ones individual symptoms. For example a patient who is suffering from numbness in the arm along with the pain in the neck would require a different medicine from the one who has vertigo with pain in neck. Homoeopathic medicine Guaicum, lachnanthes and Rhus Tox are very useful in treating pain and stiffness of the neck. In cases where numbness and pain in arms is associated with cervical spondylosis Paris Quadrifolia and Kalmia latifolia work wonders. Calcarea Flour is often used for dissolving the bony outgrowths on the vertebrae. Conium Maculatum is indicated when vertigo is associated with spondylosis.

My wife is suffering from neck pain for the last 2 months now .
she has cervical spondylitis .Is it due to that only.and what are the remedies. How can I consult you. some times she ha pain which goes doen the left arm and she has difficulty in raising her arm.her pain spreads from left side of the head across the left side of the head and she feels hear hairs are being pulled.

I am 40 year of age, 156 pounds of weight, length 5 ft 10 inches slim body. I am a patient of cervical spondylysis sever neck stifness in left side left arm numbness and pain. Left side of head is numbness and painful. my C5 and C6 disk space slightly reduced. due to this 24 hours continously pain remain in my neck and back upper portion. My vision is disturbed. My blood pressure goes high when pain started harder and harder and stifness in neck pain. hi i really need help i have had bad neck and head pain for years now , i am 46 years old and have had to stop my work last year, the specialist operated on c3 - c4 and put in a cage . i was never getting better and actually i was worse , but then the specialist after a 6 monthe said i had arthritis further up at the top of my spine C1 and to get pain relief . i have been the last year trying to get adequate pain relief , from gabepentin, them transtec patches , then now im trying fentanyl patches 50 mg but feel really unwell and dont feel the pain is under control
the doctor said it was quite rare to be so far up , and would really like if u could give ant advice at all, or can you recommend anything

I have Spondylosis in the neck for long. Recently for last 2/3 months I am having frequent attack of vertigo and my hands and legs become immobile. Even in a day 2/3 times. I have also problem of hearing in both the ears and I use a hearing aid in my left ear.
No allopathic medicine could cure me from these ailments. I dare not drive and hence without aid I cannot go out of my home.
