After whihc i took adequate care for the back and it was fine. I have been having pain on the left side for the past 6 months and i use to take rest to subsides the pain. It was working fine. Recenly 4 weeks back i was travelling and i had a severe pain on the left side started from the hip and travel till the foot. I was unable to move, subsequently i was hospitalised for a week. Doctors have taken CT scan(Since they were having doubt to take MRI as i have a metal clip for renal artery anneryusm during 2005) whihc has shown that disc prolapse,sciatic nerve syndrome. I have been given pain killers, nevoromin, traction and IFT for 3 weeks. As i can feel that i am progressing , but i do get pain sometimes on the left side, needle pain, last for few seconds. I also started getting pain on the right side.. I have been taking care of every movement. I do get pain when i started walking for long, standing for long. I am comfortable in sitting posture and lyind down. I want to know is there a permanent cure and whether i can do normal activities. I have fear that whether the shocking pain will recur. Currenlty i have been advised to do back exercises.
