During a very difficult period of intense stress and hard work, and triggered by some specific condition in a dirty room, I developped an urticaria. What is specific to mi illness: 1. It happens daily, every single day, during 3-5 am. After 10 am it disappears progressively. Sometimes, especially when I take antihistaminics and absolutely sure in connection with this intake I can have Quicke aedema, with sometimes swollen lips, swollen eye skin ( Chinese face) tongue and throat. I can add that, month and years before this urticaria problem I lowered my cortisol because - also because of stress- it causes me big problems in the morning, at the time when cortisol is the most active in the body. Because of huge amouts of cortisol released in my body I had panic strokes, and even heart fibrilations. Otherwise, during the entire day the release of cortisol was normal, but with an abnormal peak in the morning. Than I had to block it, for years, with ketoconasole. Now, it the case of my allergy - if one - the only thing which helps seems to be so far, cortisone ( prednisone 5mg/twice per day morning and evening) they are lo quanitities, but even... and it still doesn't cure me. Antihistamins make me swollen, it is not the first time I realize that. I mention also that I have an allergic background: allergic conjunctivitis, hay fever, intolerance to many cosmetic products on skin. Intolerance to sulphamides. Since I was a little girl I had urticaria of unknown origin. Than it stops. Than around 14 I had for years hay fever, than around 20, an allergy to sulphamides, than conjunctivitis. But they didn't happen DAILY! It is really unbearable! I have big irregular spots almost on all my skin sometimes! And this horrible swollen face! I'm an artist and very often on stage... Showing symptoms of chronic urticaria since 3months now,, on Allegra 180 every day and ranitidine which relieves symptoms ,,but getting fed up recurrence when Allegra not taken..
