  13. I am a physically fit woman of 83 whose active life includes weight training 6 hours a week. I live in Canada where summer temperatures frequently stay at 36C with high humidity for several consecutive days. I am unable to tolerate temperatures above 25C if humid. I experience coughing spasms, sudden sweats, difficulty breathing with occasional quick blackouts when outside. I generally seek air conditioning between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. I feel perfectly normal the minute I am in AC or instantly on days when temperatures and humidity drop. I also have no problems on rainy days when temperatures dip to below 22C. I do have a history of bronchitis and pneumonia. Medical stress and pulmonary breathing tests performed during winter months come back normal.

I would appreciate any advice you can offer. I am very tired from being isolated for three months each year – and without Covid!
