What are Moles?
Moles are a common type of skin growth which develops from the pigment producing cells called melanocytes. Moles are clusters of melanocytes that appear as brown or black spots on the skin. They may even be flesh colored, reddish or bluish in appearance. They may be flat or raised, oval or round. They can appear in any part of the body and are medically known as melanocytic nevus. Moles may be present at birth and in such cases, are known as birthmarks or congenital moles. Congenital moles have a higher risk of being a melanoma. Sometimes moles appear during childhood or adolescence and are known as common acquired moles. These common acquired moles tend to increase in number with age. I am about 57 years old, active and with normal good health except small amount of cough of normal type but a bit hard rubbery flexibility in the centre ( have a history of TB about 30 yrs. back ) , and case of prostrate detected more than 20 yrs. back. A complete urine block happened more than 16 yrs. back which was cleared by catheter. Generally I drink less AMT. of water, at nights of water is drunk then have to get up every 2 hrs. approx. for urination ( have no sugar problem and very normal BP ).
