HOMEOPATHY FOR CHRONIC DISORDERS
This incident goes back to 1980 when a boy aged 10 was diagnosed with a damaged heart valve. Medical history revealed that the valve was damaged due to a throat infection, which the child had suffered when he was five. Also known as rheumatic heart disease, it is an infection that travels from the throat down to the heart. Initially this diagnosis was made during a routine examination by a general practitioner and was later confirmed by a premier medical institute in this region. The institute also confirmed that the valve was not in a good condition and the damage was irreversible. Concerned parents, on a lookout for an alternative treatment, put him on homeopathy. After two years of Homoeopathic treatment, tests were done again at the same institute, revealing that the damage had reverted and the valve was in a near-perfect condition. The child survived and grew up with perfect anatomy as a healthy individual. He lives to learn and practice homeopathy and incidentally, is the author of this piece.
Mind and Homeopathy
July 17, 2007
If the brain was so simple that we could understand it, we would be so simple
that we wouldn’t understand it. As the modern medical world inches towards understanding the complexities of this 10 trillion-celled mass called brain, in the last century it inched a bit further in realizing (pardon me for not using the word understanding!) the connection of the mind with the physical body. This has also led to the discovery a totally new set of problems called psychosomatic disorders.
How Slow is Homeopathy ?
July 9, 2007
HAHNEMANN not just discovered a healing principle but also a law governing the relationship between all drugs and all diseases. Unfortunately, his breakthrough was glossed over. Since its inception homeopathy has been a victim of perpetuated prejudice. A bias which has become compulsive or, should we say, pathological, pathobias.
The Gas Problem

Is Too Much Flatulence Bothering You?
Although having gas is common, it can be extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing at times. Gas is eliminated either by burping (belching) or passing it through the rectum (flatulence). Half to two liters is produced normally in adults and may pass up to 14 times a day on an average. But the condition can be really bad for some individuals -one study noted a person who expelled gas 140 times daily, with 70 passages in a period of just four hours. Although every one has gas, but why do some suffer from it more than others? The answer lies either in their biological conditions of their gastro-intestinal tract or in their eating habits. The Gas usually comes from two sources
ADHD…hyperactive kids and homeopathy
June 15, 2007
It is estimated that about 3-5 percent of all kids, have this disorder. Also the most unfortunate thing is that in many cases this disorder goes totally undiagnosed .The child is often mistaken as hyper-energetic kid or as just being more playful, but the reality is that many such kids suffer from a medical disorder known as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD.
