Oh Those Painful hemorrhoids
In my clinical practice I have found Homeopathic medicines ? Nux Vomica, Aesculus, Aloes, Hamemelis and Sulphur being extremely effective in the treatment of hemorrhoids.
Hahnemann (the founder of homeopathy), writing about Nux, tells us that there are just a few medicines of which symptoms are so similar to those of the common ailments that these are very frequently found useful. These he terms as Polychrests ? drugs of many uses. Nux is a leading homeopathic polychrest. Even for a skilled homeopath, Nux is a popular prescription.
After years of neglect, when the ailing digestive system starts showing its symptoms, it usually expresses itself with the feeling of unsatisfactory stools. Bowels are cleared in not less than two or three attempts. This is a common kind of constipation and is usually found in conjunction with piles. Piles, when associated with such bowel movements, need Nux Vomica. Nux, as a rule, cures both. It acts best when taken at night. Dosage: Nux Vomica 200 one dose at night, every alternate day, for a period of two weeks.
Aesculus is more often indicated in blind piles (non-bleeding). The rectum feels full, sore with burning and itching sensation as if it is full of small sticks, with pain shooting to the back. Dosage: 30 c four times a day until substantial relief starts. Aloes Socotrina can be used for piles that protrude like a bunch of grapes, and painful, hot and are relieved by cold water. If indicated, 30 c potency can be used four times a day. Bleeding piles are common and are a feature of internal piles. Hamemelis 30 c can be taken four times a day to control the bleeding.
The use of Sulphur requires a special mention in the treatment of chronic piles but should be used only under the guidance of professional homeopath.

Have a problem. Involuntarily, a portion of rectum protrudes from the anus and I have to shub in. It is hapening since 1983. Tried some homeo without benefit. Allopathy recommends surgery. What do you suggest?

enlarged blood vessel right side spreding upword in the anus passage. slight burning sensation snd the lump so formed is hard .i can feel it by finger when sitting for stool . my age is 62.

I was suffeing from piles for 6 years. I have been having problem of heavy bleeding after passing of stool. and when I wash it lot of greese greasy fluid comes most of the time itching start after passing stool.

hi doc.i am sam , i am 28 yers old. i have a problem with my anus for a 6 months . actually a portion of inner tissue type present in my anus i dont know that is it hemorrhoid or not a feel some pain wherever i pass stool and this tissu (a internal 1cm poetion from anus ring) pressed my anus ring , sir i have no blood in stool no burning. but some days i feel some swalling on this tissu. please tell me is it hemorrhoid or not if yes then please suggest me some homeopathic medicines for this . please sir help me.thanking you.

i had to take iron tablets for low haemoglobin for 3-4 months 4 years back. after that i suddenly started having irritation after passing stool. initially there used to be some blood with occasional mucos (mild). i showed it to a doctor he said there was nothing and advised to apply coconut oil after passing stool and cleaning the area. it has helped but i have to regularily apply coconut oil because if i dont apply the rectum becomes dry and burns the next time i pass stool. it also burns if i have spicy food. it has been same for the last three years. but there is no pain or bleeding.Pl advice me some homeopathy medicin and dosage. thanx

I have been suffering from hemorrhoids since last one and half years. Seven months agon I was consulted with a physician (colorectal sergeon) and diagnosed 3rd degree hemorrhoids, advised for immediate surgery. But I heard that it recurs, so I did not go for surgery rather continued with the medicine given by that doctor for days, I worked a little. but did not cure. Afterwards I tried some homeo medicine for about 2 months. From that I got relieved from pain and bleeding, But I still have the lump (outside of the rectum, which is not going). Its already a year, its there. Sometimes I get itching, its is uncomfortable. Could you please suggest me medicine to remove that lump (extra piece/bulge of muscle).
