Varicose Veins

For Samuel Hahnemann (the founder of homeopathy) the single most driving reason to develop homeopathy was to have a system that was completely harmless and gentle. A system that would use the body’s own innate healing powers to restore health.
The homeopathic treatment of diseases like varicose veins, which otherwise would require surgery, stand testimony to what Hahnemann preached and established. A controlled study done in Germany on 62 patients (suffering from varicose veins) about a decade ago proved the high efficacy of this system in treating this problem.
What are varicose veins?
When the blood moves back from the organs to the heart, it is carried by a network of vessels called veins. Veins are thin-walled vessels compared to the arteries (vessels that take blood from the heart to the various organs). Veins contain one-way valves every few inches to prevent the blood flowing back due to gravity. It is when these valves become weak that the blood starts pooling in the veins. Veins then become dilated (widened) and twisted, and are called varicose. Any vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in the legs and feet.
Another condition similar to varicose veins is spider veins .They are usually smaller, bluish and are closer to the skin’s surface. They occur mostly on legs and at times can be found on the face too. They often look like a spider’s web or a tree branch.
The symptoms
For many people, varicose veins and spider veins are diseases of cosmetic concern only. But for others it can be more than just a cosmetic problem; symptoms commonly found in those suffering from varicose veins are pain, achiness, heaviness, burning, throbbing, muscle cramping and swelling in lower legs. Sitting and standing for a long period tends to increase all the symptoms. Veins appear as enlarged, snake-like, blue veins and are most easily seen under the skin while standing. Itching may be present around the enlarged veins. Skin ulcers at ankle, whenever present, indicate a sever form of varicose veins.
Though each case of varicose veins represents itself as an individual one and needs to be treated accordingly, homoeopathic medicines Calcarea flour and Acid flour stand at the top of the table for treating varicose veins. Calcarea flour not only clears the symptoms but also eradicates the tendency for developing varicose veins. Calcarea Iodatum works extremely well for ulcers accompanying varicose veins. Hamemelis and Vipera are indicated when there is acute inflammation in the veins often called phlebitis.

Sir I am suffering from vericose ceins for last 10 years. In the year 2007 my right leg was operated by lesser. After six month started ulcer to both the legs.
After that also i have taken treatment of bandaging to both legs for 10 weeks. After 10 weeks both legs were quite ok

I have vericose vein on my left leg, I got it scanned yesterday, fortunately the doctor rulled out about DVT, but he has mentioned in the report that arteries are fine, 2 places of vericosity. My legs have always been uneasy when I was forced to sit for long periods of time, but over the last year, I started noticing spider veins on my legs (on the feet, calf and the back part of the legs above my knees). Also, one slightly bulging vein appeared on my left calf which is getting worse over time. I do not only worry about it for cosmetic reasons, but mainly because my legs always feel tired, “loaded”, heavy and I cannot sit for prolonged periods of time (or stand). There is also pain sometimes coming from the inside part of my lower thigh down to the calf of the leg on which the bulging vein is. Sun tanning makes the pain much worse. I have vericose vein problem , the symtom are burning , tierdness . pain in leg , after sever test . i made doffler test , in my right leg 3 to 4 twisted vericise veins , & left leg 2 small enlarged veins , doctor given me compression stockings , wearing this i get relief , i used small size it made blood clot in the corner of my leg , big size not giving relief , doctor told me if u fell too much problem better to remove the vericose , please suggest

I have spider veins from last six months which pains a lot while walking It started with pain while walking at the heel (left) Now I can see spider veins type at many places not much. But I have severe pain while walking from heel to 15 cm up inthe left leg. Right leg also I have some spider veins in the thigh which are not painful. It is very old about 8 years like but no pain till now.I am wearing compression socks from last 2 weeks onwards.but no change inthe pain of heel (left). Please understand there is magic medicine for vericose vein associted problems. Best is to prevent enlargement of vien by using good quality stocking something like STRUVA 35( Rs 2500 for a pair). Always try to keep your leg elevated may be a pillow under your leg during sleep.
CALC. FLOUR 6X at early stage may help . If you are fed up with suffering of vericose vein you may opt for Lasermicro surgery which may cost you around 70000/ for both leg.
So i suggest prevention is the best cure.
