According to a study published in The British Homoeopathic Journal in October, 1997, children afflicted with ADHD were given either a homeopathic treatment or a placebo. Those receiving homeopathic medicines showed significantly more improvement than those given placebos. The homoeopathic medicines found most helpful for ADHD were Stramonium, Cina and Hyoscyamus Niger. Stramonium was specifically indicated when children had many fears, or suffered symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. The children who were physically aggressive benefited the most from Cina, and, children with manic or sexualised symptoms responded favourably to Hyoscyamus Niger

Can all hyperactive children be lumped together under one diagnostic category? Can a child, who lashes out in a violent manner at his family members and peers, fit into the same diagnostic group as a sweet gregarious one who simply cannot pay attention to the work in the class? A homoeopath would say that both temperaments are as different as day and night and would prescribe very different medicines. Individualisation stands as a key point in homeopathic treatment.

My son 7.5 years old and I think he is suffering from ADHD.
He doesn’t pay attention while studying. Makes careless mistakes in exams. He forgot very quickly and concentration level is very low. He has trouble staying focused and easily distracted while doing his homework or other tasks. He does not to listen when spoken in school and at home. He has difficulty remembering things and following instructions. He is not organised in his daily routines. He is very restless and talkative. My child often interferes in the classroom because he has difficulty engaging in quiet activities without disturbing others. In class or at home, my child blurts out answers to questions before they are fully asked.
My child has difficulty waiting patiently to take turns, and frequently butts ahead in lines or grabs toys from playmates. Sometimes my child seems intrusive. He interrupts constantly other people’s activities and conversations.

Dr. My son is 13 yrs old and has been diagnosed by school counselor and clinical psychologist as border line ADHD. He is not hyper active but he cannot stay focused and also loses things, cant recall homework assignment etc etc. His organizational skills are really poor and I am worried since he coming to 9th grade. i would like to help him with medicines if he needs it at time he gets really anger tears the books and breaks small things in the house and that is worrying me. My daughter was born preterm, at 27weeks. She was diagnosed with hydrocephalus three days aftr her birth. She was shunted for the same after a month. Now she is four years old yet she has delayed milestones. She is just able to sit up with hand support. Her neonatologist says that her first MRI scan did not even show a cerebellum. However, presently she more or less understands everything, she puts her hand into her nose, she can identify many of the parts of her body, she identifies familiar people, knows her dad, mum and grandparents, says mama and abba. Hello Doctor, my son is 6 and 1/2 yrs old. 2 yrs ago he was diagnosed with ADHD. He is an intelligent, happy and very affectionate child and learns things very fast. He has been undergoing Occupational Therapy for help in improving his writing, concentration skills and hyperactivity. Although his writing has improved a lot with constant practice and his eating habits have also improved, his concentration and hyperactivity have not. As he will be going to Grade 2 class shortly, I am concerned that this is seriously hampering his studies. When occasionally he is able to concentrate on his work, he does exceptionally well. Otherwise, he is just not able to focus. This becomes frustrating for not only us but him too. Can homeopathy help him in dealing with this? Please help. Thanks.
My 9 yrs son is not diagnosed officially with ADHD or autism, but he is being treated with homeopathy for last 3 years and got helped in certain areas. But his judgement is not developed yet, the issues of impulsive behavior and not following directions and disrespectful behavior towards others including teachers are still on. My son aged 2 yrs 11 months has been diagnosed 6 months back with ADHD and mild autism . we have employed the service of special instructors who train him in moto skills and recently also started consulting speech therapist for his speech problem.
He is hyperactive , keeps on running continuously when left alone. He Likes music and has improved his moto skills since last 6 months of training. He is generally jovial but gets irritated when held or restrained. He cannot speak yet but mumbles on his own. He is intelligent and understands and has started following instructions especially from his mother who is with him always.
