I am 60 years old. I had discharge in both the ears during my earlier days/age. i noticed loss in hearing when I was 52 years and upon consulting a ENT, I was told to undergo surgery since there are pores in the ear drums(both the ears) and that there is an internal infection which is causing the discharge. I underwent surgery to my right ear during 2012 and the pores were closed (may be tinoplasty) but I find that the hearing in the right ear is not clear. I feel that the voice of the other person appears as if a person is hearing the voice through a broken speaker.(in earlier days whenever there is a broken speaker, the people who were listening to Radio had a wavering sound coming out ). I understand that the loss is around 60 dcb(decibles). any remedy please for this?

I suffer from hearing loss due to weakness of auditory nerve. I have consulted many ENT specialists but they say that there is no specific treatment for hearing loss due to weakness of the nerve except that you can take vit B complex. Hearing aid does help in this case. In fact I had this problem from early childhood days but I could manage well during young age days. Due to advancing age, now the problem has increased tremendously and I feel difficult to relate with other people. I want to try homeopathy treatment . Kindly advise me on this issue and give me date/time when I can come for consultation.

I am 69 years old and suffering from hard hearing by left year. I consulted the doctors of modern medicine and they diagnosed of nerve weakenig due to ageing, and not a disease. In right ear too I have 20-30 % hearing loss. Doctors suggested if the problem increased go for hearing aid. However, until now, I dont feel the need of hearing aid and able to manage without it. If there is any cure in homoeopath, please advise.

Patient is an infant(4.5 months) with profound hearing loss as per BERA test.
Possible causes:
Late Onset Sepsis developed in baby after 2 weeks of birth (hospitalised for 21 days)
Premature birth (33 weeks 5 days) with low birth weight (1.6kg). C-section because of low amniotic fluid
Baby and mother diagnosed with rubella at birth (but there are no symptoms related to rubella)
Relevant informaton:
Baby boy
As per MRI and CT Scan the complete ear structure is intact. No problem in external and middle ear
Parents believe baby was reacting to sounds during first 2 weeks (but are not sure)
Growth of baby is normal and all age related milestones are achieved on time

I hear ring sound in my left year from past 2 months , consulted ENT he said ear cells are dead since I had undergone left hand elbow surgery for implant removal and the anesthesia dose given was more because of that having this problem. And there is Minimal loss of hearing as per audiometry test

I am suffering from loss of hearing last 33 yrs.My age is 57 yrs.In starting period, i was attacked by cold in Dec. month.
I am 43 years old. I have been suffering from hearing loss. The problem was started around four years back and now it becomes severe. About 60 – 70 percent loss has been observed. Left ear is more effected. Lot of noises has been experienced contineously mainly during silence at night.
