My kid is 1 year old and has been diagnosed with profound hearing loss (90 dB loss ), as per doctor his ear drums and bones are absolutely fine but there is some problem in his nerves.
We got the BERA test done and it says he has a profound hearing loss.

I am very interested in your assistance with my hearing and your suggestions. I work with children as a Vice Principal and my hearing loss came rather suddenly. I am 63 years old and I have had a history of of obstructive sleep apnea, some environmental allergies. I use to have a lot of ear wax all my life but now that has changed. My ears are dry and wax free or almost nothing. I sometimes have a little ringing and sometimes an occasional popping noise but generally, I feel like my ears are muffled as if I was wearing an ear muff. The whole world of sound is softer and muffled. I read your article I am not sure where to start. I need some help because it is not getting better and it came on suddenly. Can you suggest treatment for biaural mixed hearing loss of severe degree. Though it existed in very mild form since adolescence yet worsened now when I am 50. For the last 05 years using cic hearing aid in right ear but it has totally muffled the ear and there is silence around when instrument is removed. The left ear sounds better. There is no ringing , infection or other medical symptoms. Sages say it is handicap and one has to live with it. Pl help.
