Dear Dr Sharma I have read your treatments for spondylitis but not sure which one I should follow.
After an MRI in 2016, last week I had the diagnosis of spondylitis with nerve impingement in the lower back. The consultant believes my symptoms are a result of this.
The symptoms which I have had and gradually got worse over the last five years are, continuous dull ache in the lower back and hips, sharp shooting pains which last for seconds in the feet toes and calves come on mostly when I’m in bed or sitting, numbness and coldness in the calves feet and toes, wobbliness and unsteadiness when walking, very stiff when getting up from sitting, cannot bend down without pain, cannot crouch.
Symptoms relieved when walking, ache in back relieved when laying down on the back.
I am 72 tears old.
Slightly high blood pressure.
5ft 8in, not overweight.

I hv been diagnosed Neurogenic Claudication on LS 4 and 5 by MRI report . I feel heavy weight on legs while standing and can not walk more that 15 minutes due to this weight on the legs. I am in 71 year of age now.

I have spondylotic degenerative changes of the lumbosacral spine with multilevel posterior disc lesions at L4-5 level. I am 51 years and non diabetic with a healthy BMI. Having pain towards the middle and right lower back running down to the right leg and sometimes to the foot. Pain is more while sitting and standing and less while walking and in the bed. I am a diabetic patient.

From the above it is Gnapalium Polycephalum is most suitable for me. I have spondylilosis in L5/S1 grade one with osteoarthritis. The pain always gets better with rest, even sitting down for a minute gives enough rest for a further five to fifteen minute walk. Bending forwards helps too.
