I have subglottic stenosis scaring at the top of the trachea. I need to have it lasered periodically so I can breathe. I also suffer with bronchiectasis which involves a lot of mucous and it gets caught in the trachea. My periods between surgery are getting shorter and I only had 4 months between the last 2 surgeries and the specialist is thinking that I may need to have a trachiostimy in again which I had for 4 years.
