Vaginal discharge refers to a clear or white fluid coming from vagina. Some amount of vaginal discharge is normal and functions to keep vagina clean and help to lubricate vagina and fight the bad bacteria to prevent infection. Normal vaginal discharge should not be itchy. If itchy then it indicates some infection or other medical reason that needs to be investigated and treated.
