Attention Deficit Hyperactive disorder ADHD
It is estimated that about 3-5 percent of all kids, have this disorder. Also the most unfortunate thing is that in many cases this disorder goes totally undiagnosed .The child is often mistaken as hyper-energetic kid or as just being more playful, but the reality is that many such kids suffer from a medical disorder known as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD.
It is a common belief that only kids showing signs of physical hyperactivity have some problem related to this disorder. Well, this actually it is not the complete truth. Symptoms of consistent inattentiveness are also associated with this disorder. It is characterized by hyperactivity (physical), inattentiveness, and impulsivity

Kids having ADHD usually depict either of three patterns of behavior. Either they are more of the hyperactive type, which means that they are more physically hyperactive (constantly moving jumping running fidgeting squirming, having difficulty sitting in one place etc) or the ‘inattentive type’ (having difficulty in concentrating, easily distracted) or the ‘combined type’ (having symptoms of hyperactivity and inattention both).
Not all children who run and jump too much suffer from ADHD. It is very important to realize that for a child to be diagnosed with ADHD, certain criterion has to be met with also called as the DSM criteria, before a child can be said to be suffering from it.
Nobody exactly knows what causes ADHD. Recent researches point out the causes could be either neurobiological or genetical. Certain chemical levels in the brain have been found low (dopamine -a chemical that sends messages to the part of the brain involved in attention, movement and motivation). Increased levels of heavy metals (lead) in the body is also seen in some kids .The kind of parenting given to the child has no role in the causation of this disorder, although bad parenting can influence the severity of this disorder.
Implication of ADHD can have far reaching effects, with the schooling of the child taking the biggest hit. Poor performance in school due to ADHD can lead to a hampered self esteem in the child .ADHD can also lead to learning disabilities, defiant behavior ,conduct disorder(anti-social behaviour,stealing ,fighting), anxiety disorders and depression .
Severe forms of ADHD are difficult to differentiate from milder forms of autism, a careful approach is necessary in diagnosing and treating such forms. Such severe forms affect the child?s normal mental development .for example speech and cognitive skills can be markedly affected in such cases.
Homoeopathy for ADHD

I have a daughter of 5yrs old, She is suffering from ADHD. I have started treatment from her age of 2.5 yrs. Its was from KEM hospital, TDH center. after one year treatment hospital doctor told us now giving more drugs is not useful for her. We as parent need just concealing how to handle her, due to that we stopped that treatment and now from last one year we have started her Homeopathy treatment.
She was not able to talk up to 3 yrs. but not she is trying to make sentences. She can understand others but still not appropriately communicate with others. I want to say she is slowly improving in this area. I have admitted her in normal school but she is not able to cope up with other children. From last one year we are giving her Homeo medicines but still few symptoms are not recovered. that are:
1. Hyper activeness, She is restless and always want to go out in garden or ground for play, time doent mater – at night 2:00am too.
2. Demanding things, She demands few things at any time and not given cries very loudly
and bits and pinches others contineuly upto geting demand fulfilled.
3. She do not want to sleep late night, if she have not sleeped in day time then too.
4. Once she concentrate on one thing(her likings like childs, disco songs, dance etc.) does not get attention anywhere else easily.
5. Unable to seat one place continuously like in school, starts hitting other children.
6. She till up to 5 yrs not brush her teeth and doesnt allow us, but still teeth are clean.
But when she is in good mood then she is very lovable , understands others, cares lot, more attentive, shares things. She can easily understand any changes in persons dress or style or wearings. gives immediately reply for these things.
These are the main problems she is facing, we both (My wife and me) are under tension for her future. Few are saying this ADHD can not be cured, she will face same problem in future.
I want to ask question to you:
1. This problem is permanent or curable? please any examples .
2. She bits or pinches every one who comes near elders, teachers, parents,
3. She cries loudly any one gets irritated
4. Cant focus on school activities
Is there any solution to control her in these activities?
we are still giving homeo – medicines but not satisfied
Should we go for her whole body check up or MRI or Brain check up?
Can she behave like a normal person in future?
What should we do for it?

I have a son whose name is Kalvin and who is 8 years. Sometimes he becomes hyperactive and sometimes he is very lazy. He is not able to concentrate in class or home nor could he remeber what he has studied. Sometimes I lose my patience teaching the same thing repeatedly. He gets angry soon and starts hitting even elders. He also is telling a lot of lies. He does not want to do any physical activities or participate in any sports or extra curricular. Most of the time he likes playing on the mobile phone else watch TV.
Though all of us at home keep advising and motivating him, he seems to ignore them . Please advise.
Are these some symptom of ADHD. Can homeo help? Pls advice.

My child is 14 yrs old and is in 9th std. He is not at all interested in studies, he does the reading but doesn’t write papers properly, his hand writing is very bad.
We had done his brain maping test when he was in std 4th and the conclusion was he had ADHD, we didn’t give him any medicine and tried to improve him by taking care and teaching him to behave in good way. His grasping power is very good, he has become quiet. But now the problems are started from last 4 months in studies, he don’t want to write and he sit for reading but what he does that I don’t understand if I ask him any think what is in his mind he never replys just stay quiet.

I am having child aged 5 years 4 months he is very active he jumps from heights keeps on running here and there but he don’t listen to any one during studies he sometimes knows everything but writes everything wrong sometimes he writes correctly but at the time of studying he keeps on looking here and there writes one line in 20 min we are under stress due to this he has started getting zero or less marks in exams or tests he don’t talk like other kids talk usually please suggest us some way out
