HOMEOPATHY FOR CHRONIC DISORDERS
This incident goes back to 1980 when a boy aged 10 was diagnosed with a damaged heart valve. Medical history revealed that the valve was damaged due to a throat infection, which the child had suffered when he was five. Also known as rheumatic heart disease, it is an infection that travels from the throat down to the heart. Initially this diagnosis was made during a routine examination by a general practitioner and was later confirmed by a premier medical institute in this region. The institute also confirmed that the valve was not in a good condition and the damage was irreversible. Concerned parents, on a lookout for an alternative treatment, put him on homeopathy. After two years of Homoeopathic treatment, tests were done again at the same institute, revealing that the damage had reverted and the valve was in a near-perfect condition. The child survived and grew up with perfect anatomy as a healthy individual. He lives to learn and practice homeopathy and incidentally, is the author of this piece.
Like this one, many cases which signify homeopathy’s great ability to heal chronic disorder go unnoticed or are seen with skepticism for obvious reasons. It is not uncommon to find such cases in a skilled-homeopath’s repository.
The grace lies in the system itself. To be more specific, it is the principle on which it is based. The system basically works on the principle of like cures like (the same principle on which the modern-day vaccines are based). What makes homeopathy do well in chronic disorder is the fact that it is able to use the body?s own healing system with this principle. Small doses of a similar substance incite a reaction in the body?s healing system, which then heads for a cure. The modern-day scientists are realising this emerging truth that the body has a wonderful innate capacity to heal itself. Otherwise it is very difficult to explain a strange phenomenon where a serious illness like cancer at times gets cured on its own.
Another reason why homeopathy works wonders in chronic diseases is because it is less dependent on disease labels. Quite a few of the chronic disorders go untreated when the conventional system is not able to reach at a conclusive diagnosis. The scope for homeopathy widens up quite a bit because the prescription banks not only on disease diagnosis. Equal emphasis is placed on the innate constitution and its predisposition, causation and symptomatology effects. Another major factor which is less visible but more advantageous is the fact that homeopathic treatment is not suppressive in nature.
The homeopathic system of medicine is a constant reminder of our body?s own natural ability to maintain and heal itself.

I (69 yr.old) suffered with Cardiac arrest lasting 35 minutes in May 1988, though survived with manual pumping, shocks and Angioplasty later, I suffer from permanent pain in entire left (from head to toe) but more prominent in neck and shoulder, rib cage and stomach with

I am lean and short with present weight at 34 kgs (lost about 10 kgs), perfectionist by nature, short tempered and can be irritated easily but now become nervous and suffer with anxiety and depression too. Only medicines which worked, were ‘sertraline 75 mg with brand name of ‘Daxid’ (anti depressant SSRI) and Chlonazepam 0.75 mg taken from 2007 to 2011 end and then stopped. Now symptoms of I.B.S, left sided pains, anxiety with depression etc. are resurfacing. I am going to Sydney in December and want some medicine to effectively control these problems. Actually my uncle (Mr. Prakash Amdare, 52 Yrs) is diagnosed as Sever mitral stenosis and doctors have suggested for valve replacement surgery and it will be probably on second weak of October 2013 (Due to age factor they have already refused for valvotomy (BMV)). Sir, can please suggest what exactly we should do in this situation, is their any safe possible treatment for this disease in homoeopathy? please let us guide as soon as possible.

I read about the great achievements of homeopathy in this and other articles. I would like to take some advice about my case .
I am 25 years old working girl. I had a mitral valve replacement(mechanical) when I was 13 years old. I am taking anti.coagulants daily since then, which was prescribed by my doctor. Till now I had no significant problem, but now I sometimes feel tired and feel heavy after climbing stairs etc. I visited my doctor and he gave me other medicine with which according to him I was showing improvement, but the problems which I am facing he said were normal for a patient with Mitral valve replaced patient.
However, after reading about homeopathy I see some hope in getting a alternative treatment with this. I want to know that it is also possible to get help from homeopathy even after a mechanical valve replacement?

I am 74 yrs old and live in Coimbatore, after my retirement from Mumbai. In my Echo Cardiogram test during 2009, it was found that I am having serious Arotic Valve Stenosis and
the percentage is about 90% and mine is asymptomatic problem. I do yoga/exedrcise regularly
and notg a regular walker nowadays. Is there any remedy in Homeopathy, without the regular
open heart surgery. I am concerned as my wife also is a stroke patient. I have no helping hand

I had read about you on internet, I am from Maharashtra India, I am 35 years old, I had Rheumatic fever/Rheumatic arthritis in my childhood say at the age of 8, I had also taken penicillin injection for 5 years, In 1994-95 I was diagnosed as Ankylosis Spondylitis (bamboo Spine). From last 4 years I am going for 2 D Eco test and the report says that I am having Rheumatic Heart Disease and there is mild to moderate aortic regurgitation. I have read one incident which is reproduces at the bottom of this mail.
In June, 2012 I had undergone an open surgery for PUJ obstruction of the Kidney. As on today I am not having any type of symptoms regarding Rheumatic Heart Disease However, Still I am worried and want to avoid surgery in future.
