Nasal Allergies in Summer

Have you been sneezing very often this summer? Do you have itching in the nose , roof of mouth and eyes? Are you getting a watery discharge from your nose? If yes then there are good chances that you have Allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis refers to an allergic condition that occurs in the upper respiratory tract and also in the conjunctiva of the eyes. This is usually a harmless condition but can throw one’s life out of gear. Most of the people who suffer from its seasonal form, have recurrent episode in late spring, summers and fall. Homeopathy provides a great hope for all those who suffer from it in treating this kind of allergy from its base and thereby stopping its annual recurrence.
People who suffer from allergic rhinitis usually have these following symptoms- 1) Sneezing , which may occur any time and can occur in bouts ; where one may even have 20-30 sneezes in a row . Morning sneezes are very common in those suffer from allergic rhinitis. Such sneezing episodes may occur as early as one wakes up .2) Runny nose – sneezing is accompanied by profuse watery discharge from the nose. Along with other symptoms one may also have same king of watery discharge from eyes. 3) Itching in the eyes, nose and the roof of the mouth – itching in the nose roof of moth and eyes are very common symptoms in allergic rhinitis. Most patients complain of a “crawling” sensation in the nose and the roof of the mouth. 4) Some patients may even suffer from breathing difficulty if the attack gets serious. This kind of breathing difficulty is usually noted in spring weather during wheat harvest season. 6) Fever may also be present in some individuals during a severe attack of allergic rhinitis.
Allergic rhinitis usually occurs in two forms. The kind of allergic rhinitis that one would have it in only a particular weather is called as Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis. Late spring, summers and early autumn is the main weather when it occurs. Such kind of allergic rhinitis occurs due to sensitivity to pollens from trees, grasses or weeds, or to airborne mold spores. The second type is the ‘Perennial Allergy’ and occurs all the year around. In such kind of allergic rhinitis ,the sensitivity is mainly to substances that one encounters daily . Examples of Such substances are – cockroaches, dust mites, pollution and animal dander.
Homeopathic medicines are one of the best forms of natural treatment for allergic rhinitis. They works both ways – By controlling the acute symptoms and also treating the chronicity of allergy; thereby gradually stopping the recurrence of attacks. Homeopathic medicines work by desensitizing the overactive immune system in allergic rhinitis patients. Homeopathic medicines Natrum Mur, Sabadilla , Allium Cepa lead the homeopathic table in treating allergic rhinitis and can treat both the acute as well Chronic nature of the disease. Allium cepa and Aralea Racemosa are very effective in treating allergic rhinitis that occurs in spring . Lately, some medicines have been introduced in Homeopathy which have been found to very effective in treating allergic rhinitis – they are Galphimia Glauca , Histaminum and Luffa Operculata.
Whoever is reading this I guarantee he will be benefitted. I had a long history of allergy symptoms in terms of skin itching and sun allergy. I had a nasal allergy which started around 5 years back when I moved to Mumbai for Job reason. Even if I was taking proper diet,practicing Yoga and Pranayam regularly my issue was not getting resolved. I would have a mild pain around my right eye which will start at around same time every day then it will be unbearable pain after 3 and 4 hours. I would have a hot forehead and I won’t be able to work beyond 7PM. I thought initially it is because of AC in my office because when I get outside my office the pain will reduce. And when I will have my lunch then also the pain will reduce. But the reason was non of these . I moved to Kolkata thinking that the Mumbai climate is not suitable for me. But it didn’t help me. It only deteriorated. I had water retention in my maxiliary sinus and this will come out of my right nostril every 2 to 3 days. I visited columbia asia hospital here. Doctor suggested CT scan. He told me that I have a deviated septum that is where the problem is and that has caused water retention in maxiliary sinus. He prescribed some antibiotics and i got much relief. But he told that I need to test that water which is coming out of my right nostril. Whenever you feel like you have blocked nose please don’t blow hard. Collect that water and give here in the lab for analysis . That could be CSF fluid. I googled and found out that If I had any accident in the past or some operation of brain then only there is a chance of CSF leakage. But I didn’t have any such history. So I didn’t revisit the Doctor because I had already spent Rs.6000 in expensive CT Scan. I didn’t want to spend anymore for that doctor. But my problem was not resolved. I was feeling like fever after some days with breathing issues for the first time. When I did a blood test I found that I had 16% of eosonophil count. And I had another shot of antibiotic by a local doctor. This time I visited Appollo hospital. There doctor again suggested for a lot of blood tests. I had a high immunoglobulin ige test(270mg) and abs. eosinophil count (11% reduced from 16%) and water in maxiliary sinus(Xray of Paranasal Sinus) which were abnormal. He confirmed me that I have allergy problem . He prescribed me allergy medicine for 6 weeks and referred to ENT surgeon. ENT doctor checked my CT Scan report done at Columbia Hospital. He suggested for FESS operation to correct the abnormality which I didn’t agree to. But soon after the allergy medicine is finished I have again all the symtoms like blocked nose and water coming out of right nostril and pain around my right eye. This time I thought beyond allopathy medicine. My father got a homeopath practitioner in my village. He heard of all my problems. He suggested for Nux Vomica 200 one single dose. I had it. I got a lot of relief. The pain which usually I had around my right eye reduced to a great extent. But after 2 to 3 weeks I had all the problems again. Then the homeopath told to take me another dose. I had it too. But again after 2 weeks I had similar problems and additionally I had seen blood in the morning from my right nostril for the first time this winter. Then I consulted the homeopath. But he almost surrendered. He had no idea 🙁 just told me to visit some other ENT specialist. This time I consulted my father — He told me to visit Baba Ramdev’s clinic . I paid a visit there too but didn’t have faith that it will work in my case. I had an impression that ayurvedic medicines take long time to work. The doctor there listened to my problem and prescribed me laxmivilas Ras(2 tabs twice daily ),Sanjeevani Vati(2 tabs twice daily) and Chyavanprash. After having these medicines for 1 week I could see the result. My nose bleed was stopped, Hay fever was gone but I was having pain around my right eye still. Still I had faith on it . I completed the course for 1 whole month. Then for 2 days I stopped the medicine. I had again blocked nose and same problems. So I started it again . I would take steam inhalation and shadabindu tail also. After 2 weeks I reduced the pills to 1 each 2 times instead of 2 pills. Then also I didn’t have any problem. After 15days of taking like that again I stopped medicine for 2 days. Again the problem came back with nose bleed. So I started 1 pill each . But now I have stopped Sanjeevani Vati.. I am only taking laxmivilas Ras Vati 1 pill twice daily after food. Might be able to leave that too after few months… I am absolutely fine now 🙂 I hope this will be helpful for every body who is suffering from similar problem.

i have sneezing problm which will turn into running nose and headache if i continue to sneez for long, i sneez continue to 20 times generally as soon as i feel a change in my body temperature i suffer from this problm when i come out of a AC room i will sneez,if i drink water when i am sweating ,if i will seat under fan while sweating i will sneez,but when i am continuously inside AC room i feel ok or if i am sweating continuously i am ok. During rail journey also i suffer from the same,i have to take medicine(coldact,or any antiallergy) or nasal spray(flutiflo) for the relief.The problem will last for i day only if i take a medicine.i am suffering from this problem from last one year,,,please suggest me any remedy for the same

Actually, Sinus headache is actual problem along with this very often running nose and sneezing, if sneezing once starts it may go 10-15 with running nose afterwards it will turn to headache. what to do what homeo medicine.

Snizing in bout 10-15 times at once, watering from nose, sensation and etcing over nose,eye brows,irritable throat, dullness, eyes wareing, etcing, excessive sleeping tendency.sound of cough and snoring during slle. very found of non veg, conspitated, fatty, irritating mood, stress, sgpt and sgot many times increses than normal,plate lates is slightly lower than normal value,personal hygiene needs more attention,

I am living in Dayton Ohio. I have constant cold going on throught the year. My left nostril gets blocked most of the time. I sneeze sometimes. I am very sensitive to hot spicy food. I get nasal discharge immediately as soon as I eat. When I wake up in the morning, I sneeze and have to blow my nostrils for some time. basically I liked your article, from that I am thinking I come under ‘Perennial Allergy’ . I have nasal allergy. During sleep one of my nostril gets blocked on the side I am aleeping. If I continue to take Montair LC twice a week then I am fine, otherwise next day morning I have to suffer due to sneezing, blocked nose. Kindly suggest homeo remedy.

My vain of nose right side expanded when I am in attacked and my body is producing phlegmatic so much and it is running from my nose and throat. After that blood is running in right side of my nose and my nervous system is weakening. It is 18 years old elergy and my age is 35 now my married life is 4 years. Do not take any allupathic medicine if you are repetedly suffering from Nasal Allergies. Only aurveda and homeopath can cure this problem on permanent basis. Only you need to put trust on your ayurda or homeopath doctor and you need to keep utmost patient. These medicine never suppress the symptoms but remove such symptoms permanentely. Never ever buy any homeopathy medicine over the counter if you got some medicine name. Only experienced homeopath can select exact medicine that work for you.
