Treat your autumn allergy with homeopathy
Do you find yourself having a runny itchy nose, watery eyes and severe sneezing episodes at this time of the year? An allergy refers to an abnormal reaction to certain substances called allergens.. Just as the country?s defence forces are trained to identify the enemy and attack it, our immune system identifies the body?s enemies like bacteria, viruses, etc and eliminates them. The country?s forces never attack our civilians; similarly, our immune system ignores useful substances like food and drugs and useless or harmless substances like pollengrains, dust and animal dander. However, if the immune system goes awry and reacts to such useful or harmless substances, then the person is said to have developed an allergy. Such substances, called allergens, may be inhaled, swallowed or may come into contact with the skin.
HOW HOMEOPATHY WORKS IN ALLERGIES
Homoeopathic treatment of allergic rhinitis offers a better promise. Many such allergies can be treated permanently, though it may take one or two seasons before it is completely wiped out. Allium Cepa leads the homoeopathic table in treating this acute phase of allergic rhinitis. It is highly recommended for autumn allergy conditions with the following symptoms. Frequent sneezing, constant dripping of watery discharge; which may burn like fire, and excoriate the upper lip and wings of the nose, all symptoms are worse indoors; better in open air. It is also very effective in treating morning attacks of sneezing that come during the months of autumn. Useful tips
- * During the peak allergic weather use facemask while moving outdoors.
- * Keep windows closed to prevent pollens and molds from drifting into your home. Air-conditioning can also help reduce your pollen exposure.
- * Minimise your early morning activity (between 5 and 10 a.m.) when pollen counts are higher.
- * Keep your home?s relative humidity level at or below 50 per cent by using airconditioners. This will discourage dust mite and mold growth.
- * Carpet and flooring: allergens are easily removed from carpet and floors by regular vacuuming.
- * Kitchen and bathroom: The wet, warm conditions of these rooms provide the perfect condition for mold and mildew to thrive. Repairing leaks and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms every week with a disinfectant designed to kill mold and mildew is the best way to combat them

I am facing the similar symptoms of allergic rhinitis, but i am tired of using Cetrizine and sometimes it does not work.
Typical symptoms i generally experience include:
1) Continuous sneezing (at times, 5-10 on a go)
2) Blocked nose
3) Continuous discharge (bland and transparent) from nose

I am residing at a coastal site just within 1 km from coast in south India. I am allergic to dust, smoke, pollution and humidity. I get nazal mucus even if operate fan. During the night I suffer from wheezing. On a doctor’s suggestion I used Pothos in the last 2-3 years but not of much relief. Presently I am using allopathic inhalers (Foracart – Formoterol Fumarate and Budesonide inhaler) on doctor’s prescription. But I feel quite uneasy and feel some times body pains and other side symptoms. I want a natural therapy like Homeo. Kindly suggest me a proper medicine.

Myself afatab alam residing in ranchi, jharkahnd since 2009. I am doing job in a company, the job nature is mainly office oriented.I am suffering from allergic problems since last 5 years and mainly related to stuffy nose, runny nose, sneezing. The problem is exaggerated during sept-oct-November month when winter is started. At these time I feel very bad and the quality of my life goes down. When i got exposed to the coldness ( for example, sitting in AC room, bath with the normal water in winter) the problem is intensified and i got suffered with stuffy nose, cough and may be fever. On the other hand generally in summer-rainy season I do not feel such type of problem/symptoms.I have taken many of the homeopathic/ayurvedic/allopathic medicines but they did not recover me permanently.

Hopefully you will be fine and in good health, Dr. doctor Sharma I am 56 years male living in Rawalpindi Pakistan, serving as Quantity Surveyor which is office job, i am suffering from allergy from last 7 years, my face swallows and became itchy(eyes, nose and cheeks) and body at arms and under knees, last month i visited the Allergy and immunology department Shifa International Hospital Islamabad, where i declared dust allergy patient with IgE 970.9IU/mL and doctor sahab advised vaccine which is going on but doctor shahab told me that the treatment is not permanent may be allergy reverse any stage after treatment. Dr. Sharma as you say that in homeopathy there is permanent treatment so please advise me the permanent solution and treatment of my problem i will be grateful.
