Treat your autumn allergy with homeopathy
Do you find yourself having a runny itchy nose, watery eyes and severe sneezing episodes at this time of the year? Just as the country?s defence forces are trained to identify the enemy and attack it, our immune system identifies the body?s enemies like bacteria, viruses, etc and eliminates them. The country?s forces never attack our civilians; similarly, our immune system ignores useful substances like food and drugs and useless or harmless substances like pollengrains, dust and animal dander. However, if the immune system goes awry and reacts to such useful or harmless substances, then the person is said to have developed an allergy. Such substances, called allergens, may be inhaled, swallowed or may come into contact with the skin.
HOW HOMEOPATHY WORKS IN ALLERGIES
Homoeopathic treatment of allergic rhinitis offers a better promise. Many such allergies can be treated permanently, though it may take one or two seasons before it is completely wiped out. Allium Cepa leads the homoeopathic table in treating this acute phase of allergic rhinitis. It is highly recommended for autumn allergy conditions with the following symptoms. Frequent sneezing, constant dripping of watery discharge; which may burn like fire, and excoriate the upper lip and wings of the nose, all symptoms are worse indoors; better in open air. Useful tips
- * During the peak allergic weather use facemask while moving outdoors.
- * Keep windows closed to prevent pollens and molds from drifting into your home. Air-conditioning can also help reduce your pollen exposure.
- * Minimise your early morning activity (between 5 and 10 a.m.) when pollen counts are higher.
- * Keep your home?s relative humidity level at or below 50 per cent by using airconditioners. This will discourage dust mite and mold growth.
- * Carpet and flooring: allergens are easily removed from carpet and floors by regular vacuuming.
- * Kitchen and bathroom: The wet, warm conditions of these rooms provide the perfect condition for mold and mildew to thrive. Repairing leaks and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms every week with a disinfectant designed to kill mold and mildew is the best way to combat them

Two days back itching starts on my cheeks. It was mild at beginning and then it was like my cheeks were like on fire. Also then throat got sore. From my childhood I used to have throat infection every February-march and sept- October but now skin allergy is also there. I still have burning cheeks and headache. Kindly help with some cure.

While scrolling down for sinus, allergic rhinitis and dust allergy I came across your name where I can get to write and get a response from a doctor instead of friends.I’m suffering frm sinu since 2010 with block nose and in 2011 I had lost my smelling sense completely for almost an year but thanks to Dr Prashanta Banerji in Kolkata for helping me to regain. I took his homeopathy medicines for 1.5yrs and was fine except at times I would have block nose.Recently we moved from Singapore to Bengaluru in May I was in a service apartment in city area for a month but I didn’t have problem but since I have moved towards Brookfield Im not well every alternate day.I get up with blood red eyes and block nose and have to inhale steam or use saline water but I get relief only for 1-2hours and im back to same.I sneeze more then 30times in the mornings and I lose my energy for the day.At times I get up with itchy runny nose and I need two hand towels till late mornings.I never had this red itchy eyes earlier I found after coming here I have developed it. Two weeks back I had infection with fever and my whole face was swollen.I t becomes very difficult for me to breath and I get tired easily. I don’t walk on the roads and always travel by car with aircon on I never open my windows because of the dust outside. I tried with a doctor here for 1.5months but she kept on changing my medicines as if she was experimenting on me and I was sick every alternate day instead of taking her medicines. So I stopped.
Do you think I should go for a blood culture and then go for the treatment and what do you recommend me naturally as well.I take amla juice every morning before I take my tea and recently started my yoga thrice a week but im often unable to do the breathing exercise “Kapalbharti”.Im in quite pain and thinking it would be better I move from this city to Delhi or Mumbai.I would be happy to hear from you.

I am Bini,30yr/Female. I am have allergy since 10-15yrs,but very minor like twice or thrice in ayear i fell sick with cold and cough. in the year 2011 from september onwards i was suffering with cold, as a mediccal person usuually i take allagra tablet, but the cold was not getting completely cured and i was with this problem from 1.5months , and my finally my chest got congested, strarted wheezing and vomiting. Then I met GP and diagnosed Pneumonia. But after taking antibiotics also my condition was not fine, then the Doc suspected TB. that was right . I am suffering from allergy now, only during these rainy season since last year. During this time I suffer from severe itching in my palms. All most all the joints of my hands and the border (edge) of my hand and feet (sole) itches and pains. Doctors here asked me for several tests even RA test but the reports were all normal except Allergy Screening Report showed moderate 1.73 in Animals and Insects Test Results (cow, Dog, Mouse, Rat, Cat) & moderate (0.54) in Cockroach, Euroglyphus, maynei, Dermatophagoides farinae …..etc. Doctor advised me to avoid insects bites and have asked me to use ODOMUS mosquito repellant cream all the time which has become quite intolerable for me now onwards. Moreover I’m not at ease even after applying it for the whole day. I suffer terribly when I get up in the middle of night & in the morning when I wake up. Can you please help me doctor?
My son has undergone nasal surgeries ( Septoplasty+Terbinoplasy+FESS+Polypectomy) two months ago who has been suffering from serious nasal block/congestion since last seven months. Before the operation, many allopathic medicines were administered ( Otrivin, Fluticasone, Montec-LC, Antibiotics, Nazonex, Nazone etc.) over four months but these could not cure the problem and then the surgery was done. Still after two months (after surgery) after taking proper antibiotics, anti allergetic and even steroids the nasal mucosa often remains swollen resulting in short breath. Other ENT specialists who has been consulted afterwards for second opinion, remarked that the operations were successful and proper and it will take more days to heal.
