Although winters are a big relief from the scorching heat that we face in this part of the country, cold weather brings its own set of miseries. Some skin disorders tend to increase in winters. These are pushed to the surface of the skin. These cells then show up as silvery scales on the skin. Psoriasis generally has a strong family inheritance and about a third of them have a close relative suffering from it.
Eczema (Dermatitis) is inflammation of the upper layers of the skin, which leads to itching, blisters, redness, swelling, and often oozing, scabbing, and scaling on the skin. Some forms of eczema like Seborrhic Dermatitis and Atopic dermatitis (commonly found in small children) tend to aggravate in when skin gets dry.
Psoriasis and the above mentioned forms of eczema, have a tendency to increase in winters. This is usually due to the fact that cold weather causes drying of the skin. Indoor heating can further deplete the skin of the moisture leading to an increase in the symptoms of psoriasis and eczema.

I have this psoriasis problem from past 6 years. I have been followed this allopathy medicine since it dose’n give me a permanent relief from this disease. I just want to know whether this hemopathy medication will cause any side effects and it is permanent relief or not. I cannot work under cold environment. I am heart patient suffering from Diabetes / Hypertension and on allopathic treatment after heart attack (May 2011) / stenting.
This year, i was disagnosed with Psoriasis and on back / abdomen itching is too uch and pimples like eruptions are there or spots are there (1 of around 9 square cms on upper part of back color drak brown / blackish is there. This is incresed on taking Sulphur 1M or Heparsulph 200 once in a week. I also takes Psorinum 1M / Petroleum 1M / Graphites 1M one in a week with 3 doses on a day with 10 minutes intervals. Kindly suggest some medicines for treatment. This disease has taken away charm from life and giving depression.

earlier it was started warse in winters but it gone change and started worsen in start of summers.it generally get cleared in 4-5 months. Then again started in summer in different location.it was sprayed similarly to both sides of the body in the balance.

i have eruptions of scales, then itching, then mild bleeding, then cracky skin. always itching & painfull. agreviated with shampoo, soap etc.
i apply coconut oil for pleny of times then allergy goes & comes back after some days.
