Weather is known to have an effect on rheumatoid arthritis. It is quite known that arthritis patients show an increase in their symptoms during cold weather. Winters can be very bad for some of them. The Scope of homoeopathic treatment in rheumatoid arthritis is very favorable. But the patient needs to understand that the homeopathic system is aiming to clear out the disease from the body and not trying merely to suppress or give temporary relief .Thus it could take a while before one experiences relief. The time for its treatment is dependent on various factors-The chronicity of the disease (the duration since the disease has been in the body), genetic propensity and the extent of damage.

i ve been newly diagnosed as RA +ve. i m hypothyroid since puberty, (14 yrs of age). my mom is RA +ve and also k/c/o hypothyroidism. father got age related hypothyroidism,younger sister is also hypothyroid, younger brother has tinea versicolors.my mom underwent lt sided hip replacement last year.i ve dryness of eyes. i m very thirsty and chilly patient. dry skin dry hairs.i ve a son fo 2 1/2 yrs. i m AB_ve blood grp. my all joints are very painful. aggravate in winter and AC. stiffness in both knee joints wiyh swelling. my mom has same symptoms. please help us.need medicine for tinea versicolors also.my father have swelling on rt ankle since 40 yrs.
Dr. my sister is suffering from the above said disease and took near about 1 yr. course from Dr. Balaji Chowdary Specialist in Rhumatoid and she felt some relief from the disease but it is not given full relief. hi, I am a 54yr old women and have been suffering from ra sense 2005 . that was my first attack,pain went shooting up my spine and dropped me to the floor, that has happened to me many times. I do have med. records also have a bulging disc inside my neck inside my spine. im shorter on my rte. side and have not been able to hold a stretch , I walk w/a limp now for over 2yrs. im in pain everyday all day and night so I don’t sleep well. my rte. hand is just about use-less to me and I am rte. handed, I think a joint has been destroyed by ra. i am a patient of reactive arthritis.its not very old symptoms began to appear just one and half months ago.my left elbow was swollen and same happened with my right middle finger.as my family is full of allopathic doctors, so my treatment was started immediately and i was given injectables and third generation antibiotics. all my swellings were gone in 15 days with a little amount of stiffness and pain in my finger and elbow,then i was moved to steroids,pain killers and Sulfasalazine. but since then am in same condition, no improvement. and also my hip bone and knee get involved.now am completely moved to bed.
question is. is there any cure for reactive arthritis in homeopathy ?

I have been suffering from RA for about 3 years. I had been taking allopathy medicines for 2 years, the disease was very much under control. I stopped allopathy for 3 monhs fearing bad side effects and took ayurvedic but there was a flare. So I had to switch back to allopathy 3 months ago. The medications are :
Metho trexate inj 1ml weekly once
Sulfasalazine 1g twice daily
HCQS 200mg once daily
famocid 40 twice daily
folvite 5mg once a week
took small doses 2 to 4 mg Medrol but stopped now.
Feeling normal now, attending to all types of work. However, I do not want to remain on allopathy treatment for long. My husband is a strong believer of Homeopathy. But he definitely wont take risk, so please advise. Thanks
