Weather is known to have an effect on rheumatoid arthritis. It is quite known that arthritis patients show an increase in their symptoms during cold weather. Winters can be very bad for some of them. Even wet weather aggravates the condition for many patients. Some RA (rheumatoid arthritis) patient seems to be too sensitive about weather changes. So much so that they often come up saying that they know ? it,s going to rain? as their joints start to ache.

The Scope of homoeopathic treatment in rheumatoid arthritis is very favorable. But the patient needs to understand that the homeopathic system is aiming to clear out the disease from the body and not trying merely to suppress or give temporary relief .Thus it could take a while before one experiences relief. The time for its treatment is dependent on various factors-The chronicity of the disease (the duration since the disease has been in the body), genetic propensity and the extent of damage.
Although it is not very clear as how homeopathy works in rheumatoid arthritis, it is hypothesized that homoeopathic medicines regulate the immune system and deactivates the misdirected immune cells. They also help in reducing the inflammation in the joints too. Reversal of deformity with homoeopathy is still under debate and nothing conclusive can be said about it.

I am a 55 year old female and just recently was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis with a positive blood test. I have it in both knees and it seems to get worse with cold weather. I haven’t been to a specialist yet. I have an appointment in a few weeks. But I was told that they would be putting me on chemo drugs. I really don’t want to do that. My wife Pranita, 27 yrs, recently delivered (5 months back), having 5 months girl baby. Recently diganosed as spondyloarthritis with negative (-) RA factor. ESR (40), Slight increase of CRP and no change in uric acid.
Presently she is on medication of prednisilone injection weekly once, hydroxychloroquine tab two times in day and etorxicob tab one time in day.
Still joint pains are there and some times petechial to purpura type s/c hemorrhages (spots).

i am 77, and am diabetic for more than three decades; over some five years i suffer also from r.a. not that i did not think of homoeo treatment at a point of time, my father,an engineer and innovator had great interest in homoeo treatment, and practised essentially to help the poor villagers. i myself am an engineer having given decades in technology, planning, and management at important addresses in india and the world.

My Wife has tested her blood for RA factor since she had severe pain on her joints. the result is RA F = 64. She had very low vitamin d 6 months back , 15, for which she took Vitamin D sache every week. Now when we tested it is showing normal 126.
