Weather is known to have an effect on rheumatoid arthritis. It is quite known that arthritis patients show an increase in their symptoms during cold weather. Winters can be very bad for some of them. The Scope of homoeopathic treatment in rheumatoid arthritis is very favorable. But the patient needs to understand that the homeopathic system is aiming to clear out the disease from the body and not trying merely to suppress or give temporary relief .Thus it could take a while before one experiences relief. The time for its treatment is dependent on various factors-The chronicity of the disease (the duration since the disease has been in the body), genetic propensity and the extent of damage.

My mother is having RA positive and been suffering with this disease for the past 10 years. she tried with allopathy, ayurvedic treatment but they given some temporary pain relief only. she been using steroids for pain relief some times. As per her medical history:-
ESR – 60
Hemo – 10.10, TCD – 30.40, RBC count – 3.43, WBC count – 8,300, platelats – 4.0
She experiences very high pains sometimes and I read that homeopathy will increase the pain first so not sure whether she can handle high pains. please advise if she can be treated with homeopathy

Dear Dr. I am aged 61 female. I have severe pain on both legs below my knee ( no pain on knee)
More pain on foot and angle especially when walking. Climbing up and down steps are very difficult. At times there is great weakness of the body and a feeling of slight shivering. At times there is head ache too. Normal food )non veg) stool normal and regular. Pain left side of the buttex and slight burning sensation. Pain at the back of knee n( not severe). Body colour white and 5 feet tall. 62 kgs weight. Pain on both shoulders and on neck. Pain on the two small fingers of both hands and it extends up to shoulder. At times there is slight irritation on lips.

I live in Howrah in West Bengal and I have been suffering RA for nearly 12 years. I am 48, mother of a son of 23. One of my Knees has been deformed.Both the knees are in swelling condition. I can hardly move inside room and can not sit even in low chair. I have visited several allopathic doctors,but no recovery, rather blood sugar level become high. Last 3 years I have not taken any allopathy medicine except blood-sugar medicine and that too I have stopped for the last 4 months as I would feel very uneasy after I consume the medicine.
Now, I am under the treatment of local Homeopathy Doctor for last one year, but can not find any remarkable change. Health become sicky day by day. Can I rely upon it. Can the inflammation or bone-deformity be recovered by Homeopathy.
