Weather is known to have an effect on rheumatoid arthritis. It is quite known that arthritis patients show an increase in their symptoms during cold weather. Winters can be very bad for some of them. The Scope of homoeopathic treatment in rheumatoid arthritis is very favorable. But the patient needs to understand that the homeopathic system is aiming to clear out the disease from the body and not trying merely to suppress or give temporary relief .Thus it could take a while before one experiences relief. The time for its treatment is dependent on various factors-The chronicity of the disease (the duration since the disease has been in the body), genetic propensity and the extent of damage.

The X ray report of left knee joint says: patellofemoral joint osteoarthritis, osteppenia of visulised bones and no focal bone lesion or fracture is noted, a small gap in the left knee is noted. The right foot X ray report says: Anterior talar osteophyte with adjacent ft tissue calcifcation suggestive of osteoarthritis. Plantar calcanceal spur seen and vascular calcification noted. My mother is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis since last 7 years. Her age is 53 years now. We tried allopathic medicines then Ayurvedic treatments like panchakarma but that did not help much. We then met Dr. Akerkar from Mumbai in year 2013 and he prescribed DMARD, NSAID and other supportive medicines. This treatment caused instant pain relief and symptoms got better. But now again in 2017 symptoms started even worse and Dr. Akerkar said that body has got immune to these drugs hence they are not much effective now. He has suggested Anti Mab injections for lomg term relief. But i am skeptical about its side effects. We now have started Homeopathy treatment with our friendly famous Homeopath doctor since last 20 days. But he has asked us to keep the small dosages of previous allopathic medicines from Dr. Akerkar and gradually they will be reduced further. Considering all these scenarios, what would you advise us? Please suggest the next plan of treatment to permanently cure this disease.

I went to the doctor complaining of pain in the toes especially at bed time. Blood work was done and the RH FACTOR (LATEX) was 40 IU/mL (1:2 POS); the reference was <20. What does that mean? I have been prescribed predisone ( a steriod) and it is making me sick that I stopped taking it. How can homeopathy help me? What can I try.
