Lycopodium may be given in the third and fourth stages of rheumatoid arthritis when deformities have started. There may be a sore, numb feeling in the affected limb. The homeopathic medicine lycopodium may be given when there is a strange symptom of one foot being extremely cold and the other foot being extremely hot to touch. The deformities may be more marked in the legs and feet. The soles are extremely painful and walking seems to be highly difficult. Lycopodium may be given when there may be an unusual sensation as if the person is walking on pebbles due to callosities on the soles. Cramps may be felt in the calf and toe muscles. Toes and finger joints may be contracted and painful. Lycopodium may be indicated when the pains are more in the right side, heat in general and better by cold in general and at night.
Homeopathic medicine Rhus Tox – When Rheumatoid Arthritis is aggravated in cold weather
Perhaps no other medicine in homeopathic practice is as useful as rhus tox in treating cases of either acute or chronic rheumatoid arthritis. Rhus tox may be indicated in cases that are aggravated during every winter season. Motions always reduce the pains for a while and hence there may be a temporary relief of pain with every change of position. All small and large joints may be affected. There may be redness, swelling and stiffness of the affected parts. Pains are worse in damp, cold weather and better by motion. All the boney prominences are extremely tender to touch. Medorrhinum – When Rheumatoid Arthritis is associated with Gonorrhoea
– This homeopathic medicine is a powerful, deep acting remedy which is often indicated for chronic rheumatism. It may be prescribed when there is marked swelling of the limbs. Medorrhinum may be indicated in cases where there may be a past history of any sexually transmitted disease, particularly gonorrhea. There are deformities of the feet and toes are contracted. Here again, walking is very painful due to callosities on the soles. Medorrhinum may be prescribed when the joint pains are associated with an extreme burning sensation in the palms and soles. Pains are worse during the day, when thinking about them and hot weather. The pains are better in damp conditions.

My sister is suddenly struck by rheumatoid arthritis last year(around May). She is bed-ridden ever since . Prior to that she only had shifting pains in her finger joints which we ignored . But now she has a deformity in her left knee and swollen finger joints. Now the problem is she is obese(morbidly) has high blood sugar & pressure and has a very weak digestion system. She can hardly digest the sugar medicines and hence has refrained from taking any DMARDS. Hence I was looking for alternate therapies and met a homeopathy-doctor. He remarked that her RA factor (which is 500+) is very high , so first go through some allopathic medicines reduce the RA factor to 20 then only homeopathy can show some effect. Now we are in two minds about everything and hence looking for any available guidance.

Hi, My name is Betty Ann. I was diagnosed with RA nearly 5 years ago. The RA was under control with good eating habits, prednisone, and methotrexate. Until nearly 2 years ago when I went through a series of heart breaking and emotional events and major stress that just led to MORE major stress on my body, my health, my emotions, and m broken heart. I am having a hard time, to say the least. I know medicines have tons of negative side effects. I am trying a natural rote, but the doctor had me stop prednisone cold turkey. Needless to say, that lead to more trouble. Not only did I have a leaky gut, I haav possible thyroid issues, and RA trouble that’s pretty much the worst it has been on a continued basis. In spite of the natural supplements. One doctor who is a MD, natural doctor, and a chiro all in one, says my doctor should not have stopped me from taking another doctor’s meds. I saw the RA doctor and the RA is worse, and he wants me to stay on pred. & methotrexate. The other MD natural doctor, chiropractor, unfortunately is in Georgia. I can’t see him. He had me on supplements, early on, too. I follow the anti inflammatory diet in his book. His name is Dr. Asa Andrew. I wish he was local, but he is not. The other lady doctor is local. Her suppliments help some things, but she thought fixing the leaky gut would fix other things. But it hasn’t fixed the RA, and I go back & forth with taking pred., not taking pred. and so forth. I don’t think diagnosing myself when we are paying the natural doctor to help me, is the right thing for me to be doing. Her visits and supplements can be very expensive on my husband. We don’t have alot of money. I just work from home, selling on eBay. not really making much more than just a seller doing this for a hobby. I wanna be a successul seller. My health and the anxiety, depression, and grief, make my life difficult. I had to send some pets to the animal shelter early on, and now regret that more than anything I have ever done. I am 48 years old female. My periods have almost stopped. (From jan 2014 to August I used to have periods for 2 days, every 28-30 days. After august, I had periods for 2 days in Jan ’15)
Since 6 years, i am having pain in my left hip joint. Usually when I get up after sitting for some time or sitting on hard surface.
I also used to have lower back pain. ( My doctor prescribed Vertifine for 3 months ). When i take it continuously, I have relief for back ache. If I stop, it comes back again.

Meanwhile I read about tissue salts. I took Ferrum Phos 12X – 3 doses for 2 weeks followed by & Mag. Phos 12X – 3 doses for 2 weeks, alternatively. This I have been taking for 2 months now.

Hi, What would be the best to use for ra with heart failure and anemia? I am also suffering with terrible pain and indigestion from my gall bladder, could you recommend drops for both? I am taking milk thistle in tincture. At first I felt great but not so much lately. I am also on medication for the heart condition. I wonder how much of the heart problem is due to the ra. the doctor said that I have over 1000 units of ra, while only 1 unit is too much. I live in Peshawar, one of ancient city , in Pakistan. My age is 54 years. I am suffering from bamboo spine. Condition is not that worst right now. But I afraid that with passage of time , it may not get worst. I have no pain while sitting or standing. Only when I get up from chair , at that time I feel pain but after that I start normal walk .
