Chronic sinusitis is a condition in which the sinuses inside our skull become inflamed for months and years together. This condition can considerably reduce ones quality of life. Patients suffering from chronic Sinusitis complain of difficulty in breathing from nose, headaches, pain and tenderness in the face.
Yellow greenish discharges may also be present from the nose and also from the back of the throat. The main symptoms of chronic sinusitis are pain in the face and pressure in the areas of forehead, temples, cheeks, and nose and behind the eyes, discharge of a thick yellow or greenish discharge from the nose or down the back of the throat, obstructed and difficult breathing through the nose, diminished sense of smell or taste, frequent Headache (especially in morning), Teeth pain, Fatigue, Cough, and Sore throat.
As homeopathy is a symptom based system of medicine, the prescription is based upon the symptoms presented by the patient. Many symptomatic factors determine the choice of remedy .i.e. the type of discharges from the nose and throat, the sinus that is involved and other factors like the time of the year when this problem increases also its relation to weather. The main homeopathic medicines used for treating chronic sinusitis are Hydrastis, kali bichrome, Silicea and Merc Sol. Luffa Opercula requires a special mention for treating allergies and sinusitis both. Lemna Minor works well in cases where the sinusitis is complicated by nasal polyps.

Have been battling chronic sinusitis for over 25 years. Over that time, I’ve had 8 sinus surgeries. The cultures always came back with pseudomonas. I was given oral antibiotics until pseudomonas became resistant to all of them. I have been on four courses of IV antibiotics. For the past 2 years, I have been flushing with a saline so,tion with a few drops of bleach. My sinuses look almost clear on examination, but I still am nauseous and have green discharge. No antibiotics.

I have been suffering from severe head ache i.e. at middle of the head and starting point of the nose between eyes, eyes pain and neck pain. I have taken pain killers (allopathy) for several years and I consulted eye specialists and taken spectacles. Apart from the above, even I have checked for Blood Pressure and for certain time, I consumed tablets for BP, however, on suggestion of one doctor I have taken CT scan of head and it was revealed that I have been suffering from sinusitis. This head ache due to sinus is very severe and the pain killers also not working properly (Combiflam, Dart, Aceclofenac Sodium with paracetamol and Diclofenac Sodium with paracetamol etc).
I pray you please suggest me a homeopathic medicine and potency which effectively works and relieve me from this terrible pain.

I am suffering from sinusitis for the last two years, which has been diogonized after taking an X-ray. I am feeling pressure and slight lain in my face, forehead and back of the neck. No thick, greenish and yellowish mucus discharge but slight white mucus discharge from back of the throat is there, which has svad taste.
