I’ve suffered from genital herpes for over 30 years. I get an eruption about every 2 months. I take Lysine which helps and tops with Emuaid. Is it possible to be cured? I’ve always thought the virus lives in the spinal cord for life. Post Neuropathy now from mid front belly around right side to mid front. Pink and red blotches, hot and prickly, like a layer of skin has been peeled off, with nerves underneath exposed. Difficult to live with, as one needs to wear panties, slacks or jeans etc. I have started taking olive capsules. I use a lot of natural supplements, smoothies etc. Am told to tak 2 B’s a day instead of one. I do have chronic constipation since childhood. I try not to take, or at least overdo laxatives. I had chicken pox twice – once as a child, and then as an adult. Very allergic to poison ivy. I’m 90 years old – structure very wonky, but only 40 ‘inside’.

Shingles diagnosis left torso 10/28/24
Severe pain under rib cage. Band of blisters along lower waist and back. 11/1-12/24 Shooting pain tender to touch. Clothing and sleep painful. Pain continues in left side. Blisters crusted over 11/12/24. Thickened skin, intense pain on skin and internally. Bouts of constipation/diarrhea. Drinking access water. No fever. Extreme pain continues at night. 11/14/24 Internal pain continues. Headaches at night. Skin still tender to touch. Left arm and hand pain. No fever.
