ULCERATIVE COLITIS (UC) is a disease in which the lining of the large intestine (colon) becomes inflamed. This inflammation leads to the formation of raw sores, or ulcers, causing pain and bloody diarrhea. UC usually begins gradually with bloody diarrhea, rectal bleeding, cramps or pain in the belly, and growing urgency to move the bowels. Depending on which area of the colon is affected, the stool may be normal or hard and dry.
Other symptoms may be fever, fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite, anaemia from loss of blood, pus in the stool, malnutrition and slow growth in children.
UC can also affect parts of the body outside the colon, causing skin sores, mouth sores, joint pain, and inflammation of the eyes, the liver, the kidneys or the gallbladder.
Homeopathic medicines Merc Sol, Merc Cor, Sulphur and Phosphorus are a few of the important ones used in treating ulcerative colitis. The patient requiring Merc Sol has a continuous urge for passing stool and urine ? a never-get-done feeling. One often passes pure blood or bloody water. Symptoms asking for Merc Cor are nearly the same as those of Merc Sol; it is only the intensity which contributes to the selection. Merc Cor has more violent attacks, with a violent urge to pass stool and to urinate. Intense suffering follows. Phosphorus is indicated in cases which have painless and profuse stool passed involuntarily and freely.

Diarrhoea since last 20 days gives good responce to alopathic treatment.but when it stops it reoccurs. Symt. Psy.stress,foamy white semi solid diarr.,slight abd pain,itching of anus and irritation of bovel after emptying. Usually 4- 5 times in a day ,hypothyroidisam and bp also there.
I have been suffering from uc from last 3years , 4 month before I have done colonoscopy &something, then my doctor told me dat it’s ulcerative colitis. and I suffering dat same problem. then he gave me some medicines but then it’s stop and I gain weight around 24 kg. but now it’s hits again and I constantly looking wait…pls suggest me something..really appreciate..

Dr. A thorough colonoscopy reveals that I’m having a Chrons disease “Ileitis” . The initial pain started in the month of September,2012. After consulting a doctor at Kolkata initially he prescribed Cyra plain, Epidosin, colospa too. He also suggested not to take leafy veg, rajma, grams, red meat, etc. Now after second colonoscopy a few days back the same problem was still there. There was a inflammation of ileum, Chron’s. Now the same doctor prescribed Mesacol od, 1.2 g x 2 tabs at one time and colospa to continue for one month. Is it good? Or shall I go for Homeopathic treatment?? Please suggest me doctor.

I’ve been suffering from Ulcerative Colitis(IBS) for last 30 years. I have resorted to a number of treatments but all in vain. Whenever I am in some sort of tension due to any reason, I have at once to rush to pass loose motions and mostly accompanied by severe bleeding splashing the whole commode. Any disorder in eating habits also leads to the same. Allopaths just give steroids like Predinisolone and mesalamine tablets to check it. For some time, I feel better but thereafter the same recurs. doctor i m 28 year old house wife suffering from mouth ulcers since when i m 10 years, since then consultating many doctors of allopathic, homeopathic and ayurvedic physicians but of no uses. As when i taking medicine there is little reduction in pain and ulcers and after somedays it bounch back and same story continue… so doctor kindly suggest some medicine which can give me a new life to survive happily like others. Some homoepathic site suggest to take merc sol 30c for 2 – 3 days. Is it safe? if ulcers occurs again shall i take again. Can i take it for life time as diabetic medicines for diabetic patient. I already tried borax but no use. Plz reccomend some medicines.
For last 4 months I am being treated for Rheumotid Arthritus on one right hand index fingure joint by Allopath science and have improved. For last 30 days, I have constant urge to pass stool, it takes me an hour to clear bowls. For last five days, i pass stool at least 6 times a day, painful at the exit. I have detected ulcerative collitis in March 2013 and started with alopathy treatment Meslo 1200 (2 tables( 2400 mg) x 2 dose) then added steroid. However on completion of steroid treatment again the problem initiated bloody stool with 4-5 time per day. Then on August i have initiated the homeopathly treatment. The frequency is decreased to 2 – 3 time per day. However still blood is passing. Is treatment is going in correct direction?
Can this will be get cured?

Iam writing this for my elder brother, Mr. Devadas aged 48, and he is suffering from ULCERATIVE COLITIS (UC) for the last 5 years and now in very bad condition. Already he completed treatment in Amrutha, Lakeshore and in PVS. Still the same and no improvement. Now he is doing Ayurveda fell a slight improvement for some times. Sir I have been suffering from ulcerative colitis for last six months. In July I got admitted to hospital for ten days due to severe ulcerative colitis. I had Colonoscopy and it was found that there was severe inflammation and ulcer formed in large intestine and was bloody. docotor gave too many medicine and still it is being continuing. the medicine given by doctor is Wysolone, measocol, vsl-3# etc. Can you please recomend me any homeopathy medicine which can cure the problem forever. I will really apperciate that.
