Ulcerative colitis Its Homeopathic Treatment
ULCERATIVE COLITIS (UC) is a disease in which the lining of the large intestine (colon) becomes inflamed. This inflammation leads to the formation of raw sores, or ulcers, causing pain and bloody diarrhea. UC usually begins gradually with bloody diarrhea, rectal bleeding, cramps or pain in the belly, and growing urgency to move the bowels. Depending on which area of the colon is affected, the stool may be normal or hard and dry.
Other symptoms may be fever, fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite, anaemia from loss of blood, pus in the stool, malnutrition and slow growth in children.
UC can also affect parts of the body outside the colon, causing skin sores, mouth sores, joint pain, and inflammation of the eyes, the liver, the kidneys or the gallbladder.
Homeopathic medicines Merc Sol, Merc Cor, Sulphur and Phosphorus are a few of the important ones used in treating ulcerative colitis. The patient requiring Merc Sol has a continuous urge for passing stool and urine ? a never-get-done feeling. One often passes pure blood or bloody water. Symptoms asking for Merc Cor are nearly the same as those of Merc Sol; it is only the intensity which contributes to the selection. Merc Cor has more violent attacks, with a violent urge to pass stool and to urinate. Intense suffering follows. Phosphorus is indicated in cases which have painless and profuse stool passed involuntarily and freely.

I was detected UC in Sep 2011. I gone with colonoscopy, biopsy to confirm and started SAZO 500 (2 times @ 2 tabs each time) + Pro biotics. It had given slight relief…so treated with endofoam corticisteroid. After 4 months english medicies, I was started with Ayurveda from Kandamkulathy, thrissur, kerala…..which given a great relief. In this June 2011, i took one colonoscopy, which detected interrupted and non-uniform areas of infections. Means, the UC was seems curing. But i heard that Homeo was giving better relief since good for usage friendly too since i am in Bahain. =So now in Homeo treat from SERENE HOMEO, TRIVANDRUM for last 2 months. It is okay and now taking all foods except Chicken meat , Yellow of egg, No beef / mutton, No fried food, NO WHEAT FOODS, No too much spicy food, NO Raw Milk (with tea is okay), No to raw vegetables. You can be YES to rice products, curd to some extent, ripe bananas, peeled apples, potatoes.
Now toilet is 3 times max…and weight lost was in steady at 64. Apetite is normal.
SO DR>, HOMEO IS BEST OR AYURVEDA????????

In my experience, smoking stops this problem, no need to take medicines. But smoking is not good for health. Atleast it stops frequent rush to the loo and you are able to move about without any worry to rush to the loo wherever you are.
I am suffering from UC of rectum I have lot of mucusand sometimes blood in stool. The symtums increase when ever I take alcohal. The medicine presribed are Masacol thrice aday, Inaxin twice aday before meals and pentoden once aday in the morning .I have been taking medicines for last 5 months. Not much relief.

I am suffering from UC since JUN 2007 I got test colonoscopy since then doctor started BALACOL 3 TAb 2 times with WYSLONE 40 mg blood stopped upto now 7 times I got to take wislone last time I took 40 mg enema but after completed the course 4 days after blood again started now I don not want to take steroid I go to bathroom 2 tiem or three times a days please help we whay should I do any helpful medicine in homeopathy or Ayurveda

I’m just wondering if anyone here has used wikipedia.org to find treatments for ulcerative colitis? If you go there and search it, you’ll see that they’ve done studies where Nicotine patches are helping people with UC, and smokers don’t get it. BUT DON’T SMOKE try the gum or patch.
Also, what do these drugs like Sulfasalazine and Imuran and others that are used to treat Ulcerative colitis have in common? They all have SULFUR, S, as the Important element in the molecule so search these two drugs in wikipedia.org to see the Molecule to the right with N, O, S,etc…..Look at Imuran to see how sulfur stands out in molecule…. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imuran check Sulfasalazine to see the SULFUR attached to Oxigen. I suffered with Proctitis for about 7 yrs before finally the pain got to be so horrible at passing stool that I went and got a colonoscopy in 2008 to confirm my suspicion since I already knew what I had. I spent months and months trying to figure out what could help me get rid of this inflammation, so this is what I used to get rid of it in 2 years. Can you find Minced Garlic in a bottle of water and phosphoric acid at your local grocery store? I get mine at walmart here in the USA. Most of the drugs used to treat Ulcerative colitis and proctitis have SULFUR.
To see some of the SULFUR content of garlic look at Allicin, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allicin which is produced when garlic is crushed so DO NOT COOK GARLIC to get the benefits crush it and drink it fast or buy it minced in water and phosphoric acid and drink fast.
Try a SMALL AMOUNT first because you do not want to sufur when it is coming out the other end or just buy the other sulfur containing supplement if you’re scared to take garlic.

Ulcerative Colitis, Proctitis, and Chrons responds to SULFUR…….Go to wikipedia and search Humira and Imuran and look at the Sulfur.
Sulfur that you take is called MSM-methylsulfonatmethane or something like that-which you can buy from any vitamin store on the internet like swansovitamins for not that much money…….You will have to investigate it and experiment with the dosage and should see results as soon as 1 month depending on situation and DAMAGE to colon.
You need to repair the colon with eating sulfur containing foods or MSM which are used by the body to make the amino acids in collagen WHICH GIVES SKIN ITS STRENGH AND ELASTICITY. For the process of producing collagen to happen, you have to have vitamin c in your diet so that the reactions can happen. After you add these collagen building and anti-inflammatory supplements, you need to reduce stress which will in-turn reduce cortisol WHICH DESTROY COLLAGEN IN YOUR SKIN MAKING YOU WRINKLY. Go to wikipedia and learn about CORTISOL, SKIN, COLLAGEN and keratin to see that vitamin C, sulfur and REDUCED cortisol are a must.
Next, add about 400mg-600mg magnesium to your MSM and vitamin c supplements with 30 minutes walking daily especially in the morning to get the COLON back to normal.

You are not going to get this under control without RESTORING the colon to proper health! What happens when you sprain an ankle or wrist? swelling from immune system response if NO blood vessels were broken……….Any damage to colon caused by Intollerance to some food has resulted in the immune system constantly attacking colon.
