Enlarged Adenoids and Homeopathy

What Are Adenoids

Symptoms of enlarged adenoids are easily recognizable .The most common symptom is that of difficulty in breathing through the nose .This is most predominant at night when the child is sleeping. Disturbed nasal breathing in kids with enlarged adenoids shows up in two ways-Snoring and breathing through the mouth . If during the day time the child is showing the signs of mouth breathing ,the enlargement of adenoids is usually severe. The most worry some symptom is that of sleep apnea. Sleep apnea refers to a condition where the child has breathing pauses during sleep .This sleep disturbance manifests itself in the day time by paroxysmal drowsiness and difficulty in concentration in the kids .Other symptoms of enlarged adenoids may include bad breath and dry mouth. Increase in the size of adenoids leads to pressure changes on the Eustachian tube causing hearing difficulties and recurrent middle ear infections. Another complication that usually arises out of enlarged adenoids is recurrent infections in the sinuses – often called as sinusitis.

A couple weeks ago,I had seen a specialist with him, he suggests me the surgery as the only way to get my son out this problem.
I don’t know if you are another alternative in this matter that I can get through.
hello Dr. Sharma – My son is 20 months old and his breathing is sometimes hindered at night. He mostly sounds congested as if there is some cough stuck between nose and mouth. the congestion usually sounds bad at night. other than this the issue is he is not eating much these days and therefore has not gained weight since past few months. I live in usa so homeopathy is not an option here. what would you recommend I do to get my son treated by homeopathy medicine?

My kid is 5 yr old .she has enlarged tonsils and adenoids..ENT specialist suggested to remove the adenoid..since 2 month my daughter is breathing through mouth and snoring while sleeping..If i will start homeopathic treatment how fast i can see the improvement symptoms and how long it ll take to fully recover.pls help

My daughter is 6 years old and have adenoid problem ..diagnosed this last year..she is having fever frequently..her mouth is always open and snores during sleeping..now she is having cold and have hearing problem.we have consulted an ENT and he suggested adenoctamy..what should we do sir..Can we avoid this surgery..
Sir I am 17 years old and suffering from adenoiditis and tonsils ..I went for treatment to a homeopathic doc ..When I asked whether my adnoids will be cured completely she replied they will be reduced ..there is very less chance that they cab be cured completely as my problem is of GRADE 4 HYPERTROPHY …Is that true doc. If yes then what should I do to get completely cured..??plz help
Dear Dr. Sharma, my son is 13 years old and was diagnosed with enlarged adenoids a few years ago. We’ve tried a few natural remedies hoping to avoid surgery but his congestion is still very severe as he practically totally unable to breathe through his nose at all.
