What are Moles?
Moles are a common type of skin growth which develops from the pigment producing cells called melanocytes. Moles are clusters of melanocytes that appear as brown or black spots on the skin. They may even be flesh colored, reddish or bluish in appearance. They may be flat or raised, oval or round. They can appear in any part of the body and are medically known as melanocytic nevus.
