Pancreatitis refers to the inflammation of the pancreas. The pancreas has two main functions – exocrine and endocrine. The exocrine function is to aid digestion, and the endocrine function is to regulate the blood sugar levels in the body. Pancreatitis can be acute or chronic; in an acute condition, there is a sudden, short-term inflammation, while in chronic cases, there is long-lasting inflammation of the pancreas that can last for months or years. I am suffering from chronic pancreas may be because of high iron level in blood due to beta thekesemia minor. Chronic pancreatic diagnosed just 3 yrs ago, i am 52 yrs. After angeogram done and come out result was normal but the dye used in angeogram procedure may have affected my weaker pancreas and liver. After 3 day of angeogram i started vomiting, nausea, swalliwing difficulty, fast heart bits and these episodes repeted frequantly for one yr. Doctos told me to do all check for reflux and they performed endoscopy couple of time with ultra sound and I was diagnosed chronic pancreatitis. I am suffering alot.less apoetite, fullness and reflux. Now after taking homeopathy IRIS 6C the symptoms are bit in control. Still it is not cured. Any other suggestions pmease?

I’ve been dealing with chronic pancreatitis for several years now. It originally started in 2011 due to consuming excessive amounts of alcohol over a two year span after my mother passed away in 2009. As a result, I was in and out of the hospital on an almost regular basis for the better part of over four years. I managed to quit drinking during this period in my life, but the flare ups would insist. The last major attack I had was back in March 2015. I went five full years without a problem, no flare ups, nothing. Until I was admitted into the emergency room on March 12th, 2020 with a ruptured spleen. I had to get operated on immediately because I was bleeding internally. I wound up spending a month in the hospital recovering from the surgery, but since I was discharged on April 17th, 2020, I’ve been experiencing flare ups again with the pancreas. Usually once a month roughly, and it lasts for a few days. So I’m looking for alternative ways to deal with the pain and inflammation instead of resorting to pain killers.
