    Hi Dr. Sharma,

Thank you for this list! I had COVID May 2020 and came out of it with blurry vision and the early stages of cataracts. I had previous eye injury (scar from being poked in eye) which healed. Many floaters. Maternal history of cataracts and glaucoma on watch with my eye doctor. Nothing they say they can do for me until it gets worse. I take PreserVision AREDS 2 Formula eye vitamins.

Given the above list of 6 options I was thinking of trying item 5. Calendula, Conium & Tellurium unless you recommend otherwise.

    Best regards,
    Julie

  7. Hello Dr Sharma,
I have been diagnosed as cataract at initial stage in both of the eyes.
I have been wearing glasses since my school days. Now i am 47+. Yesterday I went to eye consultant for usual checkup and he diagnosed i have cataract at initial stage. For the time being it does not require surgery and after a month or two again it will be checked whether the disease gets mature or not then further action will be advised.
I do not want to go under any surgery and prefer to cure it through homeopathy. Kindly advise.

    • Hello Dr Sharma
I had slowly developing cataracts in both eyes, not requiring surgery, until this week, in an eye test, I could see practically nothing (on the chart) with my left eye, changes in the prescription made no improvement, scans etc were clear, and I was told that it was probably the cataract in that eye that was causing the deterioration in vision.
I have mild hypothyroidism, for which I take 70mcg levothyroxine daily, and for six month have been taking monoprost eye drops as a prophylactic against glaucoma as my eye pressures were high (now much reduced due to the drops), although the optical nerve etc healthy.
Can you suggest a remedy to ameliorate the cataract(s)?

  8. Hello,

Thank you for publishing this information. I went to Vision Works last month. I wear contacts and my vision corrects to 20/20. They did an eye scan and there is some cataract forming. It is not affecting me much. I have the halo type issues with dimly lit roads at night. Sometimes there is a slight film that I see with a blink. Nothing more. I am also looking for alternative treatments. I am a friendly to homeopathic remedies. Which one would you recommend for me from what I described? I appreciate your sharing of your knowledge. I am very healthy, eat low inflammation diet and organic foods. I do not have any chronic illnesses. I am over 60, but physically fit and do not look anything at all near the chronological age. Eileen

  11. Jayanta Kumar Dutt says:

I have been suffering from diabates type II since 2006, however, with allopathic and ayurvedic medications and some exercise, it is under control. Recently, I have a slight problem in vision in my right eye, compared to the left eye. Though the vision is 6/5 in both the eyes, there is slight scarcity of brightness and sharpness of vision in the right eye even after proper correction of power. The ophthalmologist said that the right eye had some age related changes, and indicated that cataract was going to start. I am applying cineraria maritima (water solution from Reckweg) twice to thrice daily and taking ADEL17. Will these help me not to get cataract in my eyes?
    Yours sincerely
