Cloudiness of the lens of the eye resulting in decreased vision is referred to as a cataract. A person with cataract experiences glare, foggy and blurred vision and sees halos around lights. Cataract may affect one or both the eyes. It is mostly age-related and is largely seen in the elderly. It can occur due to trauma, post surgery or in rare cases may be present at birth. The person complains of photosensitivity (sensitivity to light) and has difficulty reading, driving and recognizing faces due to diminished vision. Homeopathy is the safest and natural mode of treatment for cataract. In the early stage, when the cataract starts to develop, these medicines are known to retard clouding of the lens. They are equally helpful in restoring blurred vision. Thus, medicines help avoid surgery and its side effects such as infection, bleeding, and retinal detachment. Homeopathic medicines for cataract are, therefore, beneficial for the opacity of the lens and stops further progression of the disease.

Hello Dr. Sharma, Thank you so much for publishing this great website. I was diagnosed with a Cataract in R eye last summer, Stage 2. I used Homeopathic eye drops Cineraria Maritima (SCHWABE from Germany), but still have the cataracts. It seemed the floaters cleared up for a few months, but returned this past month.
It seems per your website that your #4 listing of ANTIMONIUM TARTARICUM, PULSATILLA & CHINA may be the best treatment, and I wanted your advice/approval.
Although I’m a Senior, I really feel it started with overuse of my cell phone (near my face) between 2013 – 2020, which resulted in itchy eyes. I was worried that the lens was damaged from EMF from cell phone. I used organic Castor Oil drops about 8 times, which was soothed by morning, but the cataracts continue, with floaters.
I have canceled any cataract surgery, so far. Trying to heal via Homeopathy. (By the way, when I saw a Homeopathist in the 1990’s for other issues, he determined that I’m a “Pulsatilla Person.” I don’t really know what that meant, but it may mean that #4 is best for me.
Just recently developed a cloud or slight diminished vision in my right eye. I’ve been using Eyebright herbal tincture and just recently have started using a single drop of castor oil at night. Condition has not gotten any worse. In the morning it doesn’t bother me but as he afternoon wears on I’m blinking more. My lifestyle diet excludes all animal products of any kind for 13 years. Herbal teas and starchy foods and veggies 🥗 round out my foods. What tinctures would you recommend ? Thank u
