What is plantar fasciitis?
Plantar fascia is a thick band of connective tissue in sole of the foot running from heel to the base. Inflammation of this thick fascia is referred to as plantar fasciitis. The main symptom of plantar fasciitis is pain in the heel. Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain.
Why does plantar fasciitis arise?

I am trying to find the best homeopathic remedy and how to take it to treat plantar fasciitis in my left foot.
Last Spring I had it in my right foot, most likely due to a bone spur in the ankle and I took Rhus Tox and within 10 days I was able to run 35 miles without pain.
Then it came back in my left foot and after my last 100 miles run it’s been very painful. I started taking Rhus Tox again but it’s been 3 weeks and no results so I suspect I need another remedy.
I am reading that when Rhus Tox doesn’t improve the situation it’s time to switch to Ruta graveolens and or calcarea fluorica. I also read that Pulsatilla may be recommended if pain is sharp after sitting, which is true for me.
I would be grateful if you could advise me on which one to take, what dosage and if I should combine several remedies.
