I’ve read thai psoriasis often begins after a bought of strep throat that never fully clears up. I believe I did have strep before developing psoriasis years ago. What if any thing could be used to kill the strep that’s manifesting as psoriasis?

My son (age 12) has had an itchy anus for almost 3 weeks. I took him to the doctor 4 days ago, and he said it was just a skin irritation and gave him hydrocortisone cream. However, yesterday I noticed it was getting red around the anus, which makes me think he may have perianal strep (something he had 5 years ago). I am kicking myself for not insisting on a strep test (most doctors don’t know about this condition). I am familiar with homeopathy and have used it successfully for a number of things. But I can’t seem to find any information on a remedy for this. Any suggestions?

I am 41 years old. I have had sore throat or maybe it’s strep throat for the past four days, but no fever. There is difficulty swallowing food and irritation. Cough is there sometimes but not often. I have been trying all the possible home remedies such as warm drinks, salt water gargling and taking steam vapour.
It’s still there. What is the best homeopathic medicine to cure this ? Heard they have no side effects. And will there be any food restrictions whilst on medication? And what will be the dosage ?

I frequently suffer from Sore Throat, about 4 times a year and I’ve been taking antibiotics for it every time. This time, I’ve decided to go with Homeopathy medicines. It’s been 3 days and my fever is not completely healed. I am worried if this would lead to rheumatic fever and heart valve damage if I do not take anti biotics and rely solely on homeopathy for cure.

Thank you for this very interesting article. I am a UK homeopath, currently helping a 62 year old woman with Chronic Plaque Psoriasis on the soles of (both) feet – nowhere else on the body. I’ve had some success with Phosphorous, Sepia and Sulphur over the past 2 years, but these remedies seem to bring only symptomatic relief and the condition is most definitely triggered by (emotional) stress.
The patient told me that she’d suffered an episode of Strep throat in the late 1990s (the worst case her doctor had ever seen, apparently). Hello, my six year old grandson developed little blisters in his anus area, dr diagnosed strep? He called it perinatal and put him on antibiotics. Previous he had 2 rounds of antibiotics for strep throat. He has never quit passing blood in his stools and now his penis is seeping? I just started Streptococcinum ointment yesterday. I am concerned though, if is not strep of his anus, will Streptococcinum cause any problems?

Hi, my son who’s 7 has been diagnosed with a strep infection.
He was running 101-103F fever for 2 days and complaining of a mild sore throat pain.
He was fever and pain free on day 3-4 but still congested.
The doctor suggests antibiotic, and I’d like to know if I should give it to him.
