Pudendal neuralgia refers to chronic pelvic pain arising from damage or irritation of the pudendal nerve. The pudendal nerve supplies the areas including lower buttocks; perineum; area around anus and rectum; labia, vulva and clitoris in females; scrotum and penis in males; external anal sphincter and urethral sphincter. 7. Caladium – For Treating Erectile Dysfunction
Caladium is prepared from the plant Caladium seguinum commonly known as Dumb Cane. The natural order of this plant is Araceae. Caladium is very suitable to treat erectile dysfunction in males having pudendal neuralgia. Males requiring Caladium suffers from weak erections or incomplete erections. Sexual desire is present. Stitching pain in penis may also be there. Caladium is also useful in cases where complaint of painful erections is present.
8. Merc Sol – To Manage Frequent and Urgent Urination
Merc Sol is very valuable to manage complaint of frequent and urgent urination in pudendal neuralgia cases. Symptoms of Pudendal Neuralgia
Majorly, pelvic pain is the main symptom of pudendal neuralgia. The pain locates around any of the area (buttocks, perineum, area around anus / rectum, genitals) supplied by pudendal nerve and may be burning, shooting, sharp or electric shock-like in nature. Pain most times get worse from sitting and is better by standing or lying. Apart from pain, numbness, pin needle sensation, swollen feeling or increased sensitivity to touch in the pelvic area supplied by pudendal nerve may be felt. I have been suffering from pain in my genitals ( inside penis and scrotum) and in pelvic region. I am 58 years old male and undergone laser surgery for piles & fissures two snd half months back after which my this problem started. I had undertaken Urinalysis, Abdomen & Scrotal USG and all reports are normal (no infection, no stones detected ).

I’ve been dealing with pudendal neuralgia for over a decade now. My symptoms seem to have been regressing for past few years. It’s now causing erectile dysfunction while previously it was just a loss of sensation and therefore at times I would lose interest prior climaxing. The symptoms were on and off so sex was good most of the time with periods of regression. Now my glans hasn’t gotten hard for 1.5 years except when I’m near climaxing. The time of my penis doesn’t just feel numb anymore…it’s basically dead unless I’m erect which takes alot of stimulus.

Did you have any trauma before this started? Physical or emotional. And have you tried acupuncture? I have been diagnosed recently with Pudendal nerve neuralgia I am find the pain when sitting excruitaring and my job relies on me doing so. I have constant tingling in this area is there anything you can recommend that may help. I have tried medication from the GP but I can’t seem to tolerate it.
My son has had prudential neuralgia for over 4 years. He also had surgery for a varicocele so has scarring of testicle and groin. His pain has spread from testicle to now whole pelvic floor and genitals with particularly severe urethral pain. The pain feels as if his genitals have been crushed. He gets urinary frequency and has pain flare from bowel motions. His whole nervous system has wind-up and he has secondary hand pain from the poor postures he must adopt. He also has a history of antibiotic use which has caused gut issues. I have tried hypericum 200c and 1M with no benefit. Do any specific remedies come to mind ?

Hi, I suffer from PN. I get paini in the perinum on the left side. Also in the clitorus, burning pain and throbbing pain. I take gabapentin for the nerve pain but it really is a hit and miss for relief. I also have pain in the back of my left left leg and the bottom of my backside. When that hurts it triggers the pain in my gential area on the left side. I also have frequent urination both during the day and at night. Is there anything that you can recommend to help?

Hi, I would Like to know if you’ve ever treated anyone who has Pundendal Neuralgia from sitting on a long car ride for many hours. I have a compression of the rectal branch in the Pundendal nerve, which causes the spinchter to lock up and stop me from eliminating. Have you ever dealt with that particular issue before, and And been able to resolve the lock up from nerve compression? I’ve done pelvic therapy and it causes more pain.
