Mastitis is the inflammation of the breast tissue. Mastitis can arise in any woman but is most common in breastfeeding women. In lactating females, mastitis develops because of the blockage of milk ducts and milk stasis due to incomplete emptying of milk. Risk factors for milk stasis include blockage of milk ducts from pressure such as tight fitting clothing, using one breast for feeding child, and using the same position to feed the child. These result in improper drainage of milk from the breast. Other causes of mastitis is the transfer of infection to milk ducts from damaged or cracked nipples and direct trauma to the breast. My wife aged 34yrs observed tenderness in both breasts. After taking allopathic treatment only for pain management then we headed towards a homeopath. He prescribed Calcarea Carb 30 and some other medicines given by himself. Got some relief but after one month we went for Ultrasonography of Breasts. Everything was normal in left breast and in right breast the sonologist observed Mastitis in Inferio Medial part with evolving abscesses???Advised FNAC correlation.
But our homeopath suggested us not to go for FNAC right then He told us to just wait. He prescribed Conium Mataculatam 30 with other medicines like Phytolacca, Mercuritis, Silicea, Bellis , Begonia, Belladonna etc one by one. After treatment of two months, the pain is mild only on touching, occasionally she feels the pain but something like lumpy tissue is still there. The treatment continues.

by C-Section. I am on 60 mg of Armour thyroid.
I am having a very difficult time producing enough milk for my baby even with regular pumping. The doctors have suggested supplementing with formula but I prefer to breast feed as many of the formulas are cows milk and soy milk based. I have clogged duct on right breast. Also pain radiating from the nipple every time I feed my baby.
I took phytolacca 200c as I have it in my Helios childbirth kit. Apparently I cannot take more than one per day but I took more. Seems getting better but the lump is still there and it is sore.
