In case of a pinched nerve in the cervical spine (neck) the symptoms include pain, numbness or tingling in cervical back. These symptoms can be seen radiating to shoulder, and the upper limb. In case of a pinched nerve in lower back, the primary symptom arising is sciatica (lower back pain radiating down the lower limb), numbness, tingling in the lower back or lower limb or isolated pain in the lower back.
In the case of carpal tunnel syndrome, the symptoms appear due to pinching of the median nerve in the carpal tunnel present in the wrist. These include wrist pain, tingling/ numbness of fingers of the hand (thumb, index finger, middle finger, ring finger) and weakness in the hand.

I would really appreciate a conversation with you to discuss my current symptoms of spine disease and questionable arthritis that has not been diagnosed accurately by the allopathic doctors.
I have a cervical spine nerve impingement between C5-7, leading up to predominantly right-sided radicular symptoms. I am dealing with acute flare up presently, along with low back nerve compression at the level of L5-S1.

Dr Sharma – This is with reference to my son aged 14 years. He has pain and sensitivity from back to both legs and one hand. Only his right hand is not effected. There’s no pain on the frontal chest or abdomen. He is getting this pain from the past 10-12 days. Even in sleep he is mostly in a still position and he keeps complains of pain and doesn’t have sound sleep. He is quite aggressive in nature and is restless and very angry. He gets irritated even in slightest of things.
Having gone to Neurosurgeon and Physicist, they ruled that it’s a psychiatric issue rather than physical issue and recommended for sessions.

From last one week I have knee problems.
It started when I was advised by my physio to do some exercises for a problem 8 had in my back on left side.
I never had this knee problem before
It’s in my right leg. And on one small are a sharp pain .
With exertion it move on top left side of knee.
It is more in bending and climbing stars
I dont know what to do
Ice or heat
I kept icing it but didnt help

Dear Dr. Sharma, I get muscle knots in my shoulders and have some kind of pinched nerve. My lower neck feels compressed sometimes. I am getting tingling down my right arm to my hand, like its going to sleep, with pins and needles. Wakes me in the night sometimes.
Right now I have to sleep nearly upright in a recliner because of scar tissue in my nasal passages. I think this position is causing a lot of the problem. Use an airplane curved neck pillow to keep my head and neck from flopping around.
I overused my right arm about a year ago and must have hurt the muscles. I am 73 and found out that muscles do not heal as quickly. I take arnica when it is bad and rub on various natural remedies. Like arnica gel, Revive sore muscle and White Willow gel. What should I take for the long term to help heal my muscle.
Also have had a weakness in my upper mid back – very sore spot where the spine tends to slightly bulge out and sometimes go slightly to the side. Chiropractic helps somewhat temporiarily. When that is out it seems to affect my neck and shoulder area. all suggestions are welcome. Thank you.
My son, Dylan, has a pinched nerve in his neck and has been suffering for about two weeks. He went to a chiropractor 2 days ago with only very temporary relief. He’s going back tomorrow. He had an x-ray and the orthopedist said he saw some deterioration in his neck bones . As a result he’s having an MRI on 3/11 and on 3/15 he will consult with the doctor as a result of the MRI.
In the meantime he is suffering in his neck and his arm, endlessly. I’ve tried everything in ways of ointments and stick-ones. Dylan has done some some arm stretches, recommended by the chiropractor. Is there anything that you can recommend to diminish his pain!
