Sir, My son aged 24 Yr. since 8 to 10 yrs. he goes to special school situated at hubli i.e Usha school for exceptional childrens. my son has speech delay and sleep issues waking a lot and only sleeping 7 hours at a time at night. he rocks back and forth on the couch and sometimes even while sitting on the floor. tilts his head and looks out the side of his eyes sometimes at lights.has jerk nystagmus. he was cmv igg positive had a virus as a baby but they told me not to worry about cmv. he had shots till about 6 months no more after.he grinds his teeth I think due to teething and makes grimaces. Is very hyper or is whining all day no in between. My son is 6 years 7 months old. His speech is not clear. He can’t express himself properly. He started talking “Mama”, “Papa”, “Bye” etc. words at around 2 years of old. My son is 4.5 years old. He says many words, only two word phrases and sometimes he sais entire easy poems that he learns. He is kind of shy when he does want to speak. He says as well difficult words. He goes to speech therapy from 2.5 years old. Had improvements especially in the fine motoric skills and the global ones because he has some issues in these areas too. when he was 10 days old, he had jaundice and the bilirubin level was 18. After foto therapy, was ok. I don’t know if this is the cause. As well, he is caring, altruist, with new people and his mates, his educator as well. He calls her by her name, as well his favorite mates. He calls us mama, baba, aunt, grandma, grandpa sometimes, and other names of the family.
