Speech delay is the most common type of developmental delay. A child not paying attention to other people and not responding to sounds is one of the first warnings of possible speech delay. My son is about to be 3 in few days . After his birth he suffered from meningitis ventriculitis and when he was six month old he had a shunt implant. Right now he is active but he has not started speaking ……though he tries but is not clear. He loves to watch Nursery Rhymes and speaks with it but his words are not clear. He has difficulty in speaking. Please advice some proper treatment so he can start speaking and I can admit him in the School.
