Speech delay is the most common type of developmental delay. A child not paying attention to other people and not responding to sounds is one of the first warnings of possible speech delay. Dear Dr. My child is 3 years and 10 months. He can learn alphabet and numerica and also says rhymes but not so clearly. He don’t talk to us even not saying mama or papa. He knows lots of thing’s and understand what we say. He don’t ask for anything he want, only cry on us that something he want and pick our hands to the object he want. In bet ween he started speaking with Stuttering words like A A Apple, AAA amma,
And he has shy to contact with other person to speak, He can speak all words with his friends when playing,

My baby boy is 19 months old and he just babbles and says dada or baba if he is in mood but he doesn’t use or try to speak. He is a little bit ahead of other miles stones such as weight hieght walking running .. eating by himself.. even he is treating as a 2 years old baby .. he can change the channels on TV . My child 5.4 year old but speech deley issue . Some few words can speak but not meaningful because diagnose mild autism spectrum disorders. He understands all. But difficulty for Speech. My son is 4 year old. 2 years back he suffered from jaundice and after that we noticed that he has had suffering from speaking difficulties . He had gone through 5 month occupational therapy. Due to it his hiperactivity reduced but still he is unable to speak properly. He speaks some words even he inact for his need, he used to copy dance steps from TV.
