Autonomic nerves are responsible for regulating autonomic functions of the body such as bladder function, digestion, body temperature, and blood pressure.
The peripheral neuropathy can be a mononeuropathy (damage to a single peripheral nerve) or a polyneuropathy (malfunctioning of multiple peripheral nerves at the same time). The symptoms of this disorder depend on the type of peripheral neuropathy.
Sensory neuropathy: The symptoms of sensory neuropathy are numbness, tingling, pricking, pin/needle sensation, hypersensitivity and burning sensation in the hands and feet. The symptoms can spread up the arm and leg.
Motor neuropathy: The symptoms of motor neuropathy include muscle weakness, paralysis, twitching/cramping of muscles, wasting/thinning of muscles, impaired balance, and coordination.
Autonomic neuropathy: The symptoms of autonomic neuropathy include rapid heart rate, bowel/bladder symptoms, diarrhea/constipation, blood pressure changes, increased/decreased sweating and erectile dysfunction in men.

In some cases, there may be no identifiable cause.

Dear Dr. I am suffering with diabetes type !!. Since last five years. Now I am 52 years old. My weight is 93 kg and hight is 6 feet. I am working in sales and marketing job. Since last one year I am getting sever pain with hyper sensations in both feet. My diabetes is almost seems uncontrolled. HbA1C is 8.5. most of the time I have to face extra uncontrolled urination. Sir, my name is Ashok Kumar Ghosh , M 58, have been suffering from diabetes mellitus type II since last 15 years accompanied with severe pain, stiffness on my left should, muscle, wrist and fingers which are getting deformed gradually. I feel painful on my lower back when I try to sit erect. There is degenerative changes in my lumbar region and compression on my neck as an outcome of cervical Spondylosis. I feel pain on my both knees when I go upstairs or getting up from sitting position. I feel pain if I press over the right groin and there is a feeling of uncomfotability over the right groin. Hello, I am having mild suagr since last 4 years. Current HBA1C level is 5.9. I walk 4 to 5 times a week for 5 kms each day. Since last 1 year am facing burning sensation in feet. Got a nerve conduction test and result was mild neuropathy in both limbs. Please suggest homeopathy medicines.
