Peripheral neuropathy is a condition that arises when the peripheral nerves malfunction or get damaged. I have peripheral neuropathy. It is chemo induced. I have severe tingling and numbness in my feet, and also in my hands. I sometimes feel like I’m standing on pins and needles. I cannot tell whether my feet are cold. From what I read above, I think I have sensory neuropathy.

My Mom has Chronic Axonal Neuropathy. We’ve tried everything, including Infrared Therapy, to no avail. The infrared hurt her eyes (even with the glasses on) so she had to stop using the infrared foot rest. Hello, I have been told that my neuropathy is caused by chemotherapy that y received this past year for ovarian cancer. I have burning, itching, prickling feelings in my arms predominantly now, but have what feels like pins and needles in my fingers especially at night. I have had these symptoms for months and even years as they can come and go. Currently the symptoms are quite chronic and wake me at night.
I have seen a homoeopath for 25 years and she has retired now. The remedy she gave was hypericum but it doesn’t do anything.
I scratch my arms as the prickling burning moves likes fire crackers under my skin, and of course itching does nothing. I apply ice packs to get some relief.

I am writing you on behalf of my dad who has a kidney cancer. He got a neuropathy in the beginning of June this year and now he is in huge neuropathic pain in his legs he couldn’t move or do anything. His arms also become very weak. The doctors couldn’t do the right diagnosis. They don’t know what was a cause.
After immunotherapy (last year) he got a lot of problems including hypothyroidism.
Looks like he has a different type of neuropathy as Motor and Autonomic neuropathy.
Blood test result is not bad in his state.

Hello doc! I have been taking bp meds along with cholestrol reducing meds for last 11 years . Since last 2 years I have complete numbness under both the feet and now since last 2 days slight burning in feet started. I have cervical spondylitis and also on in lower back minor disc problem. I have imbalance problem too but no dizziness. I am feeling very weak and feels like all muscles are shrinking. I also checked for nerve problems with the best neurologist.
